Melinda Bridal is a wedding makeup business covering London, Kent and the South East. Owner Melinda is a seasoned makeup artist who brings years of industry experience to every client she serves. From soft and romantic to bold and glamorous, Melinda knows how to create your dream bridal look.

I want to elevate your beauty with your bridal look and specialise in creating a natural look. I’ll highlight your natural features and use tones that really compliment your skin. You’ll see that I ask to have a bridal preview in advance of any bridal makeup booking, where we will work together to create your perfect bridal look.

As I came from the world of fashion, having worked in editorial and fashion shows, I know how to create bridal makeup that will photograph well and has staying power. Weddings are long days and I want to help you feel beautiful from start to finish.

FAQs

Yes of course! I can offer a trial before securing your wedding date. I’d recommend booking the first trial as soon as possible, just so that your wedding date doesn’t get booked up. Where possible, I will place a hold on your wedding day, but will not be able to secure it until the deposit and wedding contract have been returned.

I don’t want the first time we meet face to face to be on your wedding day, which is why I think a trial is so important. I recommend we book you in for a trial 4-12 weeks before your wedding day. You’ll also likely have more of an idea of what you’re looking for in terms of look and style once the venue, cake, and decorations, and of course the dress, have been arranged.

I’m based in Kent and my team is based in London, Hertfordshire, and Sussex, so we cover the South East at the moment. We’ve done a lot of weddings in Kent and London in particular. If you’ve got your heart set on working with Melinda Bridal but are a bit further afield there is absolutely no harm in asking, we will see what we can do, it might just mean we have to charge for some additional travel and perhaps hotel arrangements.

We suggest 90 minutes for bridal makeup and 45-60 minutes for bridal parties. Additional elements such as hair and custom lashes can add some time to your booking. When we are discussing your wedding and the requirements I’ll give you a total time and timings for each person so that you know exactly what will be happening on the day.

Planning a long day of festivities? Or a lot of your wedding is outside and you’re worried about it staying during unknown wedding conditions. I can be available for makeup retouches throughout the day and night. Changing dress and wanting a brand new look? Well if you can’t do it on your wedding day when can you?! I’d be more than happy to create a second look, just let me know during our initial conversations and I can ensure that this service is quoted for and planned.

I’m available for private online classes, with prices starting at £80 for 2 hours. Or one-to-one in person class. £100 for 2 hours From the comfort of your own home, we can work through a full makeup application together, do a makeup bag detox, and I can recommend products that work for your skin tone and suit your budget. If there’s something, in particular, you’d like to work on such as winged liner or sultry eye classes can be adapted to create an in-depth tutorial for any skills you’re missing but would love to have. I can provide a range of classes which will really heighten your makeup and beauty knowledge.
