I don't really know how to sum up how fantastic our wedding was at Trinity House in July, 2018. We had seen several venues around London but none seemed to have that wow factor we were after and there was always something missing. Trinity House is in a fantastic location, with stunning views. My husband is Brazilian which meant we had a few people from outside the UK travelling for the wedding. Having our welcome drinks and canapés outdoors on the cobbled street in front of Trinity House, playing Bossa Nova, drinking champagne, eating canapés and all on a beautiful summer's day with the amazing view of the Tower of London, it really was the best of London! Inside Trinity House is equally as beautiful with its sweeping staircase, impressive Library Room and beautiful décor around the venue.
Zoe who coordinates weddings and events at Trinity House was the perfect person to help plan and organise our day. She was professional and friendly from the get go. She genuinely loves the venue and knows how to make it work at its best. She gave us some great ideas and invaluable advice! If anything went wrong on the day neither my husband nor I had any idea because Zoe ran everything so smoothly.
Party Ingredients, a preferred supplier, catered our wedding and I can't recommend them enough. James Murphy and his team provided food that the guests couldn't stop raving about, which can be rare at weddings! James was so accommodating in letting us tailor the menu to our preferred choices and deliver something spectacular on the day.
I wish we could relive the day again, it was simply the best day of our lives all thanks to Zoe and her team. A City wedding is amazing when you have such an incredible venue with iconic views and fantastic people to make the day run perfectly.
Having already picked our reception venue in Central London, we were looking for a licensed building to hold the ceremony itself, when we stumbled across Trinity House.
From the moment we saw it, we knew it was for us. The location, and views of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London were just stunning - and the house itself worked perfectly for our numbers, with its traditional decor contrasting nicely with our more contemporary reception venue.
The layout of the House was perfect for our plans - allowing us to accommodate our 120 guest in library, and using the musician's gallery for a string trio to play throughout the ceremony (the room's acoustics are ideal for this). We then had a short champagne reception in the adjoining room before getting some fantastic photos taking in both Trinity House and some of the surrounding landmarks.
We then jumped on a red routemaster right outside to take us on to our wedding party!
Zoe at Trinity House was absolutely brilliant at helping to make our plans a reality. From the initial initial enquiry to the day itself, she was always on hand to answer any questions, suggest ideas and ensure that all the final details fell into place. We also really appreciated the flexibility of being able to provide our own drinks for the reception - something that's often not the case with traditional wedding venues!
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Trinity House to couples looking for an iconic yet relaxed Central London venue for their special day.
I learnt about Trinity House for the first time while searching for a venue for our wedding on the internet. At the first appointment, we met Zoe Turner. Zoe showed us around with great professionalism and my husband and I quickly made up our mind we wanted Trinity house to be the venue for our wedding ceremony and celebrations. We booked the venue 13 months prior to the wedding day. Trinity House is the venue you want to have if you are looking for a classy and timeless location in the city centre of London! The venue is generous in space, with plenty of beautiful rooms where you can spread out different moments of your wedding day, from the ceremony to the reception, the cake cut, the dinner and the party. It is equipped with everything one requires to hold the entire wedding celebration from a to z such as registrars desk, chairs, dining tables and kitchens. When I look back at the photos, we all agree here that Trinity House was just the perfect venue for us to host our wedding as it reflects our taste for timeless and elegant things and location preference (Tower Hill). I also would like to say something about Zoe. In preparation to the day, Zoe was absolutely brilliant in supporting me every step of the way with suppliers list to reach out to and anything else that needed to be sorted as part of the planning. Zoe excelled over the last 2 weeks before the wedding. She supported me in finalising every detail that needed to be ready for the day and always replied to my e-mails in a timely manner, which made so easy for me to move on with my planning schedule. Zoe was at Trinity House on the wedding day as well to ensure everything was running smoothly as planned. Seeing Zoe around and talking to her every now and then while the wedding day was running was such a reassuring factor for me. I could see her walking around the rooms coordinating the schedule, talking to the caterers and communicating with my bridesmaids too from time to time.
Thank you so much Zoe and Trinity House's team for contribute to making our wedding day just perfect!
Gloria & Dilip (Married on 4th August 2018, Trinity House, London)
We had our wedding reception at Trinity House just before Christmas and the beautiful building looked even more special with all of its wonderful decorations up. Working with Zoë for over a year ahead of our big day was nothing short of a pleasure and she was a fantastic support during the planning process. Her friendly and professional manner reassured us that we were in safe hands.
In particular, Zoë was brilliant about allowing us to show family members Trinity House in the run up to our wedding, which was hugely appreciated and added to everybody’s excitement! Zoë and the team are justifiably proud of the wonderful history of the House and really care about the events taking place there.
We would not hesitate to recommend using Trinity House for any event, but it was truly magical for a wedding reception. It has a very special place in our hearts now and somewhere we feel we will always be welcome. Thank you Zoë!
We celebrated our wedding at Trinity House on the 5th November 2011 with approximately 100 guests. We had a civil ceremony followed by a champagne reception at The House, then went to a restaurant on the other side of the river (we live just south of Tower Bridge). We didn’t really have overall theme but I guess red, white and black was repeated quite a bit. I wore a 50’s style dress with a black sash and petticoats and my bouquet was red roses. Mike’s sister made a cake in black and white with roses on the top and a friend designed our invites which were in red and gold. We did, however, hire a red bus from the 40’s, which had been beautifully restored, to take guests from Trinity House across Tower Bridge to the restaurant. It was a massive hit with the kids and passing tourists!
Trinity House was a beautiful venue and we did the family photos on the staircase which worked well. Some of our relatives were already aware of Trinity House for various reasons so were quite excited to get a chance to visit it.... There’s also a little park not too far away in a ruined church and we did some lovely photos there. You’d never have thought we were in the heart of London.
As far as organisation goes, we didn’t hire a wedding planner - we’re far too lazy to have someone organize us! We had a fairly good idea of we wanted and kept it all quite simple. In fact, we selected venues where we could trust people to look after us and take the stress out of it - which they did.
