Where do we start, from the first viewing of Trevenna to driving away the morning after our wedding, everything went without a hitch. (I actually shed a tear as we drove up the driveway because it was all over).
Team T became my top email contact in the months leading up to the wedding and nothing was too much trouble.
The day ran so smoothly, with both indoor and outdoor ceremonies prepped ready to go weather dependant, somthing I didn't learn until the day after!
The staff were amazing the whole 3 days we were there. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Sam, Andy and Jonathan you guys are brilliant and made us feel like rockstars for the weekend! Andy- Thanks for the needle and cotton for one of my guests who hitched her dress!
The food was outstanding and we have had so many friends say it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding!
Your chef Mark Lowe provided us with the tastiest and most beautiful cake.. again putting up with my endless emails changing my mind 100 times was never a problem!
Trevenna is a beauitful wedding venue and is set in the most beautiful surroundings. Everything was so clean, tidy and well kept. I could compliment it forever.
I must mention my guests who stayed at the Manor House, were very well looked after, and loved to learn all about the interesting facts of Trevenna from the very "lovely" owners.
Team T you are truly amazing. We can't wait to come back and see you soon.
We would choose Trevenna again and again and again!!
This was a weekend wedding. From the minute we arrived to the time of departure we realised that we were in safe hands and that nothing was too much trouble for the hardworking, helpful staff. They were virtually invisible but always available when needed. Jo, our host for the weekend, was wonderful - she showed us to our barn and made it very clear that she was on hand to deal with anything that we needed. The beauty of this venue is that can accommodate many guests from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. We had family travelling 300+ miles to attend so this meant that they could relax and reconnect with family and friends before the wedding. A lovely touch waiting in the barns on our arrival was a box of fresh scones together with jam, clotted cream, tea, coffee and milk. (most welcome after bank holiday traffic!) I would challenge anyone to pick fault with the rooms - they are clean, well decorated, light and airy with everything you would need to be comfortable. The kitchen has ample utensils, cups, glassware, dishwasher and fridge. (no microwave) They provide an iron, ironing board and hairdryer making life much easier. The evening BBQ food was good and more than adequate in quantity. Once again, I feel it important to mention that the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and allowed the Bride and Groom to chill before the big day. We were lucky with the weather and it enabled the wedding to take place outside with amazing scenery. Delicious canapes and bubbly served after the ceremony to guests as the couple had photographs taken. The attentive waiting staff cleared tray after tray making sure that nobody was left out. The Wedding Feast was fab and the food throughout the whole weekend was faultless. (I am not easily pleased!) Corkage fee of £8 per bottle ensured sensible drinking. A tab could be set up in the Farmhouse Bar and settled at the end of the stay. The Trevenna crew are well organised and it was evident throughout our stay. They even gathered up all the items left at the tables so that they wouldn't be forgotten by guests We all left the venue thinking that it had been a memorable and amazing celebration. I cannot find any negatives about our experience at Trevenna. [Read less]
We got married on the 13/08/16 at Trevenna. We had a weekend wedding with some guests arriving on Friday and leaving Sunday and some guests joining just for the actual wedding/ or reception.
Accommodation – spacious, clean, full of character. We had very young and elderly guests who had travelled from all over the world. Having the accommodation onsite meant that they could take themselves off/ rest/ recover when needed without anyone having to worry – this added hugely to the relaxed and stress free nature of our wedding.
Food – top quality food even when 85 people all get served at once, All allergies and intolerances were catered for. The menu choices were so varied and everything tasted so good that trying to pick a menu was difficult! The local food and produce was fantastic, showing off best of Cornish which is exactly what we wanted. Our naked sponge wedding cake made by Trevenna looked and tasted incredible. Even small touches like holding back canopes for the bride and groom made us feel even more special and so well looked after.
All of our guests commented on how beautiful and unique a venue Trevenna is. Trevenna worked with our suppliers and the decorating e.g. delivery and hanging of bunting and delivery of extra lights etc. ran seamlessly.
Staff – Jo (our wedding host) and her team couldn’t have done more. They were there whenever we needed them but discreet and very professional. Everything ran like clockwork because of their hard work. Nothing was too much to ask for them which made our day stress free and incredibly relaxed. When the skys cleared shortly before our ceremony all the chairs that had been set up for a indoor ceremony were relocated outside so we could have the outside ceremony that we wanted so badly – Trevenna did this without batting an eyelid even though it took a considerable effort with such little time to spare.
Organising/ contacting Trevenna in the build up to our wedding was incredibly easy and the team were always on hand for suggestions advice, quotes and answers. We organised our wedding from London and it couldn’t have been made easier. The food tasting event we had before our wedding was fantastic we just wish we had taken more people with us!
Without doubt our weekend at Trevenna was the best weekend of our lives so far. We had an incredible time as did our guests. Many people asked us how we had found Trevenna as it just seemed to tick all the right wedding boxes! We can’t recommended it highly enough. [Read less]
I can't thank Trevenna enough for making our wedding on the 6th August the most magical day. From the moment we viewed Trevenna 2 years ago we fell in love and were made to feel at home! The venue has been updated over the past few years and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to book their wedding. The food was incredible and we were very well looked after by the staff. It's the perfect blank canvas to make your day your own! [Read less]
Magical venue for my little sister's wedding on August bank holiday Monday.
I have no idea how much Trevenna helped my sister and her husband with their wedding preparations BUT as a guest it was incredible. The venue is beautiful and the way guests can stay the night before and after the occasion means guests can relax and enjoy themselves.
The food was yummy, the accommodation immaculate and the staff - brilliant. A special thank you to Asha for getting some wrapping paper last minute on a bank holiday weekend when I had (stupidly and annoyingly) forgotten it! Total life saver and meant i could relax rather than fret about it.
Choose Trevenna for your wedding - gorgeous! [Read less]
