We got married at The Mansion in August 2017. Harriet Ashton was our wedding coordinator at Dine and she was absolutely amazing right from day 1! We’d like to thank her so much for all her enthusiasm, organisation and coordination, always done with a big happy smile yet with the utmost professionalism. The Dine team on the day were wonderful and the food and drink was absolutely amazing! It was so reassuring to know on the day that Harriet and her team had everything under control and we could fully enjoy ourselves! I didn’t get the opportunity to thank you personally yesterday, hence the email. It was a fantastic day and passed in the blink of an eye. We had an absolutely perfect day- everything went smoothly and everyone said how great the venue was, both for the location and the food and service. You managed everything seamlessly and were a calming influence throughout. The best men also wanted to pass on their thanks as you even managed to sort all of their requests around their a/v equipment. The Best Man also commented on how calm and in control you were.
I thought Harriet was absolutely fantastic leading up to the wedding and on the day. She was a calming figure in the midst of a busy time and her attention to detail was impeccable. She helped in any way she could and it would not have been the same without her. Dine is very lucky to have her and without her, I do not think our day would have been the same.
We just wanted to drop an email to thank you and the team for making our wedding day so magical. Everything felt like it ran so smoothly and we both had the best day ever.
The dine team were incredible and several guests commented on the amazing Waiter Dave, so big thanks to him, he was a star. There was also a lovely girl behind the bar (but I can't remember her name) who was particularly sweet and attentive. So many guests commented on the beautiful venue and absolutely everyone loved the food! Our professional pictures are due back next week which we can't wait to see but even the ones people have sent us off phones and cameras are so beautiful - and I was so pleased we got the sun!

We knew that The Mansion was the venue for us the moment we stepped foot in the building. Already local fans of the beautiful Roundhay Park setting, we were blown away by the grand staircase and chandelier and stunning rooms, followed by a welcoming and informative tour and meeting with one of the events managers.
Our assigned event manager Harriet was brilliant to work with. She understood our vision immediately and was so accomodating of our vendor choices. She took detailed notes at our menu tasting and worked with the caterers to ensure everything was perfect. She even took the time to answer last minute questions via email the night before the big day.
On the day of the wedding we were able to set up with the events team well in advance and make use of private rooms to get ready in. We walked in on the events team getting their brief for the day, resembling a military operation! The team were so professional, even in the 31 degree heat that none of us had accounted for when planning!
There were two small hitches to the day, both of which the team solved for us. A charity run was taking place on the morning of the wedding, where a 3 piece brass band was supporting them right outside the dressing room...Harriet worked her magic and politely got them to move away from the mansion so I didn't have a nervous breakdown! I also managed to knock my Eton Mess dessert (with bright red strawberry coulis) over my wedding dress but one of the events team swept me off to the bathroom and managed to miraculously clean me up!
The day was beautiful, accompanied with incredible food. We had so many compliments of our wedding being the loveliest one our guest had ever attended. One of our guests got engaged shortly after our wedding, and we're looking forward to attending their wedding at The Mansion next year!
The Mansion at Roundhay Park. It was the location and setting that drew us to the Mansion, we loved that we had use of the whole building throughout the day. It was lovely that our guests could stand out on the terrace after the ceremony, especially since we had great weather. We also booked The Mansion because we knew the food would be good. We had a starter of baked prawns, followed by sirloin of beef and Eton mess for dessert. The food that Dine produces is so tasty and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed it.
