Wow! What an amazing and beautiful weekend we have just had at Talhenbont Hall for our wedding day. I can’t recommend this venue enough. From the moment we arrived we felt so so special in this beautiful setting. From the gorgeous and homely cottages, to the grand and beautiful hall and wonderful grounds. It is just truly stunning - plus we were super lucky with the weather to enable us all to enjoy everything Talhenbont has to offer. We wanted a beautiful and relaxed day and weekend and we had this in bundles. What made it so special was Alicia and Paul who just worked effortlessly to make our day perfect. We can’t thank them enough and all the suppliers who made our day so amazing. I can’t recommend Talhenbont Hall enough as a wedding venue!! Thank you again - we will back to stay xx
Thank you so much Louise, it was an absolute pleasure to host your wedding weekend.-

We knew we wanted to have our wedding at Talhenbont Hallas soon as we saw it through the clearing in the woods. The amazing building is complemented by the stunning grounds and made it the perfect backdrop for the special day. The accommodation, both the hall and the surrounding cottages, were extremely comfy with an idyllic backdrop.
While the venue would be 5 stars alone, Alicia, Paul and the team worked tirelessly to make sure the day was better than we could have imagined. If you’re looking for a truly unique bespoke service in a beautiful surrounding, we couldn’t think of a better place. We’d do it all over again if we could, it was honestly the best day of our lives.
My husband and I hosted our wedding at Talhenbont Hall last month having discovered the venue whilst we were staying in one of the self-catering cottages on site in 2017. By chance Alicia was holding a wedding fayre in the main Hall that weekend and she showed us around. When my now husband popped the question a few weeks later we couldn’t find a venue to match it. We live in Warwickshire but decided that the beauty and intimacy of Talhenbont Hall warranted the journey to rural Wales.
Being able to book the Hall exclusively meant that we could invite family and friends to stay and enjoy a mini-break on us at the same time as celebrating our wedding. We married in the Vaughan room and enjoyed a gorgeous wedding breakfast courtesy of “Cheeky Chilli” in the adjacent Cromwell Hall so come rain or shine I didn’t have to venture outside (it was early March!).
With the exception of the caterers (Cheeky Chilli) we were free to choose our own suppliers although we decided to take Alicia’s recommendations for the most part and were thrilled with the results (Hayley’s Piped Dreams for the cake and Moncrieffe for hair and make-up). We booked our own photographer (Phil Barrett) and entertainment (harpist Oona Linnett for the service and the band, Hipster, for the evening’s festivities) and the day went like clockwork. The Hall looked magical enhanced by the florist, Springbank Flowers and everyone worked hard behind the scenes both before and during the day to ensure that our day was perfect.
Thank you, Alicia, Paul and Daisy, for making our day so special. As well as our wedding venue, Talhenbont Hall was a home from home for the night as my husband and I were able to snuggle up on the chesterfield sofa in front of a roaring fire once we had waved goodbye to the last of our guests and enjoy all the comforts that the Hall had to offer.
Thank you all for making our special day one we will treasure forever x
Very friendly and helpful team - They go the extra mile to ensure everything is covered. Superb venue - magical place and Alicia has a particular great eye for detail and nothing gets passed her. Good value for money for exclusivity - it would be my dream venue.
