We got married at Talhenbont Hall on Tuesday 10th November!! Our day was beyond perfect... nothing was too much trouble for Alicia, Paul and Daisy and we thoroughly enjoyed every single element of our day! Alicia has been so professional and kept us up to date with all the changing rules and regulations in these strange times. Our guests were safe and thoroughly enjoyed their cottages too (The Bothy and Conifers). Anybody that’s engaged I highly recommend getting married here. I promise you will not regret it!!!! We’re hoping to come again with more guests on our 1 year anniversary. Thank you again! ❤️

After recently celebrating our wedding at Talhenbont Hall, I couldn’t speak highly enough of Alicia, Paul and Daisy!
Talhenbont hall itself is such a beautiful and idyllic setting, a truly stunning venue for weddings or getaways.
Arranging a wedding through a pandemic was never going to be easy and at times never thought would be possible. However the help and support given to us to make our special day become a reality, is something I will forever be grateful for!
Thank you so much!

Getting Married in 2020 has been difficult to say the least but for some people it’s been made awful from what I have heard.
We however, have been extremely lucky with our choice of venue as our journey was made so much easier because of the amazing one on one support we have received day and night. Alicia, lives and breathes Daisy and her Couples! I will always be thankful to you Alicia, without you, our wedding would not have happened we know this much and can't possibly ever thank you enough!!
A truly down to earth family run business on beautiful grounds, I mean extremely beautiful grounds with a fantastic main hall and plenty of room for guests in the quaint cottages. We can’t wait to visit again for a staycation!!!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

My daughter & her fiancé where due to get married on 21.03.20 in the truly magical & some what breathtaking Talhenbont Hall. A beautiful grade II listed Manor House built in 1607, nestled in 100 acres of ancient woodland. Due to COVID-19 just 3 days before the big day they both decided together that the safest thing to do for all concerned was to re-arrange their wedding day due to the pandemic which was unfolding at speed. This was just before lockdown was announced.
Throughout the planning stage and then through the heartache & tears in re-arranging the dream wedding day Alicia & Paul where both truly amazing.
Alicia was so supportive and kept us strong when we spoke to her and we all got through the next few days & weeks together, putting bigger issues into perspective whilst letting suppliers and guests know the wedding was off.
We where and are so thankful to Alicia for all her support.
Before this we had many pre-wedding meeting which always took place in the magnificent main Talhenbont Hall it has such a lovely atmosphere and is in a truly unique setting.
We are now looking forward to the big day once again. Alicia & Paul are still both 100% behind us as a family, they are so supportive and helpful in all the re-arrangements.
Alicia has moved the wedding date until later this year adding she will move it again if necessary due to COVID.
We have incurred no additional cost from Talhenbont Hall although this pandemic will impacted them greatly as a family business but still they just can’t do enough to help us.
From day one Alicia has been amazing in helping us plan every detail of my daughter & her fiancé special day. Alicia has a magnificent eye for attention to detail. My daughter and her fiancé are once again looking forward to their big day in the outstanding Talhenbont Hall.
We are so lucky to have had Alicia & Paul help us they are a beautiful family who together oversee every element of planning no matter how big or small. Thank you both for everything we will never forget your professionalism or kindness. We all look forward to the new big day xxx

I am a bride due to get married in August of this year at the beautiful Talhenbont Hall. In such uncertain times, our wedding like many others is in doubt. I cannot express how much Alicia and Paul’s care, empathy and professionalism during this time has meant to myself and future husband. They have eased any burden we would have otherwise faced by reserving us a back up date for next year (and allowed us to choose this date) assuring us that if our wedding cannot go ahead as planned this year, we will have the day we have envisioned at a later day and without any financial burden or compromise. I am fully aware that some other venues have not been so considerate of their customers. I appreciate the huge impact postponing so many weddings is having on the wedding industry and on family businesses like this, but at Talhenbont Hall it is clearly evident that they will go above and beyond to ensure we have the happiest day of our life! It means the World ❤️

Talhenbont Hall is a beautiful venue that we absolutely loved when we visited for a show around. Alicia and Paul show love and care to their venue and it looks utterly stunning in all seasons. Inside and out the venue is beautiful. An important thing for all brides to know is you will be completely looked after. We were called as soon as other brides had been calling Alicia to change their date - Alicia had clearly worried that we would miss out and wanted to keep us in the loop. We have rearranged our wedding date without any problems and this is due to the kind and excellent organisation of the venue. We cannot wait to get married at Talhenbont, your wedding is so important and although I felt that nothing would make me feel better about having postpone the fact that Alicia made sure we felt better straight away and sorted out a date was amazing and it feels like it will all be ok and that really is largely down to the lovely hosts at Talhenbont. Aside from this we are lucky to have such a fantastic venue anyway! The Outdoor Terrance area where we plan to get married is overlooking a stream and it will be a magical place to get married. Another thing that sold the venue to me is the cottage accommodation surrounding the house - I looked at a few other venues and it would be that you compromised on the venue or the accommodation to have all of your family there however compromise is not the case with anything at Talhenbont it all genuinely seems to be as beautiful as you see in the pictures. Thanks Alicia and Paul - can’t wait to get married as soon as it can happen!

I can’t recommend Talhenbont enough. Alicia at Talhenbont has been an angel throughout this horrible time for us all. The corona virus caused us to have to cancel our wedding which was devastating, but Alicia has made it stress free and has been wonderful throughout. Talhenbont is a magical place, the grounds are beautiful as is the house itself and the coach house. Can’t wait to get married there, I have truly fallen in love with the place ❤️ Thank you again for being so understanding and helpful during this unexpected nightmare for us all. Xxx

It might seem odd to review your wedding venue before you are actually married, but in these unprecedented times it makes sense. The moment we arrived at Talhenbont Hall we fell in love. The weather was atrocious and the grounds and hall itself were still breathtaking. On meeting owner and director Alicia for a showround we were instantly put at ease by her friendly and unassuming manner. I remember mouthing "WOW" at my fiance when she opened the door to the Cromwell room. I still get goosebumps everytime I walk in there. Anyway, the venue itself is beyond my dreams, but that's not why I am writing this review. Our wedding was meant to take place on April 24th 2020 (outside on the terrace and typically happened to be a gloriously sunny day in North Wales!). We had already had a rocky start to the year with my Dad being diagnosed with skin cancer and suffering complications from his surgery. Throughout this worrying time Alicia worked with us to look at postponing should he be too poorly to attend. Luckily, we were told he didn't require chemotherapy at the beginning of March. Hurray, we thought, we can get married and it will be such a celebration now! We all know what happened next, however! Suddenly COVID19 reached the UK and spread amongst the population at alarming speed and we were all encouraged to social distance. How does that work at a wedding? The vulnerable were told to isolate. My Dad included, along with many other guests. How could we get married without them? Alicia made the right decision to postpone our wedding the week before the Prime Minister brought in official lockdown measures. The sense of relief was overwhelming. She has acted with love, integrity and morals throughout this stressful time and we cannot express our gratitude enough. We have set a new date for later this year and she has even allowed us to reserve a date for 2021 should things not improve as soon as we hope. We are incredibly lucky to have Alicia, Paul and Daisy on our side. I dread to think how other couples must be feeling who aren't so fortunate with their venues. Talhenbont Hall have shown us that they understand that love is so much more than a wedding day. We look forward to returning to the estate to finally be married (whenever that may be, in rain or shine!), and I am sure we will be able to leave another five star review afterwards!

What can I say about Talhenbont Hall? Frankily, I could go on forever. From the first time we came across their website, we knew this would be our wedding venue. It was the last of 3 venues we had viewed that day and we had certainly left the best till last. Alicia and Paul were so welcoming, very informal but professional.....which for me is the perfect combination. On leaving the venue myself and Aled looked at each other and just said "That is the one". And the rest is history. Following our first meet, we visited Talhenbont a further 3 times just so we could show our parents and siblings how amazing it was. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we've had to add another year onto our special day but we couldnt have had better people than the Cox family getting us through this and reassuring us that our day will be extra special when it finally happens. We can't recommend Talhenbont Hall enough. All I need to say is.....go and visit it and you'll never look back. Xx

Myself and my husband were married at Talhenbont hall 18/02/2020. We stayed with close friends and family in the main hall and cottages from the 17th until the 19th. These 3 days were absolutely wonderful, we couldn’t have asked for more from Alicia, Paul and little Daisy. They went out of their way to make our day and the build up as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Everyone was blown away by the beauty of the location and are itching to get back there! We fell in love with the location the minute we saw it and couldn’t imagine anywhere being as stunning with owners so kind and helpful. The family work so hard to ensure weddings are truly what you visioned and nothing is too much. Alicia was responsive all the time and there to help anytime. The cottages and main hall were truly beautiful and full of character, we had guests from 20-80 and everyone felt comfortable and safe, the accommodation is above anything a hotel could offer. The only downside is that we can’t go back and do it again!!!! Thank you Alicia, Paul and Daisy. Iwan and Lisa Williams.
