What an absolute gem 💎 The whole team work so hard to make their clients’ day perfect. We wanted a blank canvas that we could make into a fun, autumnal day to remember. Riverhill certainly delivered! If you can’t make your mind up, give me a shout and I’m happy to wax lyrical about this beautiful place ❤️

I cannot speak highly enough of Riverhill!
My now husband and I had to change the original wedding venue we had settled on, but this must have been fate as to our delight we found Riverhill Himalayan Gardens.
The gardens are absolutely stunning and every time we go we discover something new, especially as the seasons change. It's a never ending fountain of surprises.
We had our ceremony and reception in the Walled Garden and then the party moved to the tennis lawn. Although the venue is licensed, we were able to have a humanist ceremony, which fit the style of the day perfectly. We were also allowed to put a small surprise in the water feature to keep the kids entertained and this went down very well, along with playing on the immaculately kept grass slopes. I had dreamt of an outdoor wedding, which we were so lucky to get as it meant we could make the most of the magnificent array of flowers in the Walled Garden, around the Himalayan Hut and along the Rose Walk. However, we were really reassured that there's a lovely indoor space too if required.
It happened to be the hottest day of the year so Riverhill turned out to be an even more ideal location to spend the entire day outdoors and explore everything it had to offer. It was still warm by midnight so we were dancing with bare feet on the grass until the end. If people did get chilly though, they were able to cosy up in the 'Summerhouse', which we were again given permission to turn into an alpine lodge.
The whole team were so accommodating and helpful in the run up to the day and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day too, even down to making sure we were well hydrated in the sweltering heat and the band/ukulelist were protected from the blaring sun. Although Riverhill doesn't need much else, they allowed us to truly make the day our own with any little extra touches we wanted to add. I found not all venues are so flexible when we were initially researching.
The team only keep reliable and trusted suppliers on their list, although you can find your own too. We particularly liked the look of one of the suggested caterers and they turned out to be the most amazing experience. Our guests are still raving about the food whenever we see them and their service was fantastic too.
We settled on one of the tipi hire companies after seeing the set up at the venue for another wedding and knew we had to go with them. It looked so brilliant on the tennis lawn, underneath the grand house and overlooking the spectacular views across the Weald of Kent.
I can't wait to visit again and reminisce about the best day!

What can I say?! This place is just wonderful! After visiting 10+ wedding venues, and not finding the right one, we visited Riverhill and instantly fell in love. Not just with the grounds (which are stunning) but with the people too. The team at Riverhill - Sarah, Kate, Allan etc are all wonderful and will do anything to help make your day perfect for you.
We had both our ceremony and reception at Riverhill and we received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful it is.
The team can share their recommended suppliers with you, and we used a number of them and even better, they don't charge corkage for the alcohol brought onsite, so if you're looking to provide a free bar, this will definitely be a good option for you. They also only do 8 weddings a year, so it's very exclusive.
I honestly loved our time at Riverhill and think it's a wonderful venue in Kent and couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else!

We held our ceremony and reception at Riverhill in July 2019 and we absolutely loved the venue. From the moment we were shown round we knew it would be perfect. From the stunning views to the peaceful atmosphere it made our wedding dreams come true. Our ceremony took place in the walled garden under the Himalayan Hut, which was surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers so required minimal decoration. The cockerel added to the atmosphere by crowing during the ceremony, which our guests loved. The guests also commented on how nice it was that the bride & bridesmaids had to walk up the long path before reaching the aisle as it gave them plenty of time to see us. The path also made an excellent spot for the confetti shot! Our drinks reception was also held in the walled garden around the beautiful fountain. They don't charge for corkage so we were able to save a lot of money on our drink. Our photographer found so many great locations to take photos and we're really pleased that we've got a variety of backdrops for our formal shots. Our marquee was set up on the old tennis court lawn with views out over the Kent countryside. Behind the marquee stood the grand house, which was another good backdrop for photos. So many of our guests commented on what a fantastic venue it was. It really is a hidden gem. All the staff at Riverhill were excellent and helped to make the wedding planning as stress free as possible. It is now a special place for us and we feel very lucky to be able to visit it again and again in the future.
