We so nearly didn’t book a photographer for our wedding, after all, these days everyone has a great camera on their phone, and who wants someone trying to herd reluctant friends and relatives into groups for hours and then getting in your face all day?
My fiancée met Paul at a wedding fare, and they got on straight away. Paul is such an easy going but practical man. He totally agreed with our concerns about “the official photographer”, in his words, “The last thing you want on your special day is someone nobody knows getting in the way, telling people where to go and what to do! My aim is to be as unobtrusive as possible, to blend into the background, to just be part of the decorations. Of course if you have some group shots you want me to capture, I am very happy to be front and centre and as bossy as necessary to get the required result, but apart from that, I hope you and your guests will hardly register my presence.”
We are so pleased we hired Paul to be the photographer at our wedding. Not only was he good to his word, so inconspicuous as to be virtually invisible, but the results of his work are fabulous. Yes, we’ve been sent masses of pictures taken by guests and some are excellent, but Paul seems to have captured the magic of the day, and his images are full of the emotions, happiness, joy, laughter and even a few tears. Each picture tells a little story of one particular moment in our day.
Thank you Paul, you have given us permanent memories that otherwise would have slowly faded.
