Dear Patrick. A huge heartfelt thanks to you for everything you did to ensure that we had the most amazing wedding day! From meeting you at the wedding fair to the day itself,your help advice and suggestions were so helpful and on the day you were an absolute legend! You really did keep everything moving and balanced the needs of so many very successfully.You are a real credit to Stoke Place and they are very lucky to have you-your humour along with being so calm are such enviable traits and made you the perfect person to look after us on our wedding day
Meeting Patrick and Rene was a delight in the final handover meeting the evening before the big day. Despite some clear nerves we were given complete confidence that no stone had been left unturned and the day was going to go without a hitch (apart from the obvious hitch! No pun intended)! Patrick’s general demeanour, clear experience and passion for what he does was refreshing and so comforting. Especially at intervals during the day where a little arm round the shoulder was required as one part of the day ended and the next begun.
Just following on from my earlier email, Colleen and Stephen have kindly followed up with more feedback, highlighting some of our wonderful superstars on the day and the hard work you put in. A special thanks and well done to Patrick, Petr, Rene and the kitchen teamPatrick the toastmaster - we would not have believed that a wedding could run as smoothly as ours did and that was totally down to Patrick's expert handling and supervision! He kept us both totally calm and happy - from ordering us mulled wines during our photos to giving us a pep talk before our entrance all the way to tracking me down some red wine when I fancied a glass!
Thank you Patrick for taking such good care of us on our wedding day. I felt we were in excellent hands when we had our prep meeting a few days before and I was right. It was great to see you there to welcome us when we arrived at the Crowne Plaza and guide us through a fabulous evening. Many of our guests also commented on how warm, friendly and helpful you were. Patrick is such a valuable asset to Stoke Place and he was truly brilliant! He ensured everything flowed perfectly and we had what we needed, when we needed it (even including my make up bag for refreshes!!!) He is a great person to have around and is calm, reassuring and lots of fun too! He also worked very well with Kim our photographer to ensure she got what was needed and everything ran on time.
Patrick was our toastmaster at Stoke Place on 3rd August 2019. Not only was he our toastmaster but he was also one of the reasons why we booked this venue. We were lucky enough to have Patrick show us around Stoke Place, it was because of his passion and enthusiasm about the venue, grounds and the team that we chose Stoke place.
On our wedding day, Patrick was extremely organised and attentive to our needs and took all of the stress away from us. Nothing was ever to much trouble. He made sure that us as the Bride and Groom were well looked after, always making sure we had a drink and had first pick of the canapes.
We can't thank Patrick enough for helping our day run smoothly, we felt completely comfortable and at ease in Patricks company and would highly recommend him,
We cannot recommend Stoke place as a venue and the team they have highly enough. Our day and stay was perfect and we are still receiving compliments from our guests about Stoke Place and their team to this day. Please give our special thanks to Petr and Patrick the Toastmaster,both were amazing This testimony could go on for ages naming all of the team at Stoke Place however they were all fantastic and we will always be extremely grateful for all of their hard work and for making our day so special.”
My lovely daughter held her wedding breakfast / reception at this wonderful venue 27 July . The happy couple married at ST Edwards Church Windsor. Lots of our guests stayed in the hotel the night before and we filled the hotel the night of the wedding. Tracey the wedding planner is worth her weight in gold ,she does an amazing job answering any questions and always willing to help . A big thank you to all the team Petra , Mark , Rene ,Jon and Patrick the toastmaster who was great at helping the day run smoothly.The drinks reception, canapés were delicious, wedding breakfast food , pave of beef was to die for . Hog roast in the evening extra special. Lovely touch all the wedding guests staying at the hotel had a very yummy breakfast together the morning after , with a few sore heads in the dining room 🤣 We all had a truly amazing day , thank you all so much , wish we could do it all again
The day itself went perfectly! It was amazing, we had the best time and totally loved it. Thank you to all the staff on the day especially Renee and Patrick who made us both feel so special. All the food was delicious from the dinner the night before, all the way through to the bacon butties in the evening – lots of guests complimented the food and wine! The quality of the wedding breakfast was superb which is no mean feat when feeding over 100 people.
Everyone complimented the friendly and helpful staff as well as the venue itself. It was wonderful being able to spend the entire weekend at the venue and we will definitely be back in the future.
We absolutely enjoyed the big day and so did our guests. Please kindly pass on our thanks and appreciation to Petr,Patrick and all the waiting staff assisting on the day. They are professional, friendly and helpful. Food is amazing in both bbq and wedding breakfast. Not to mention the cheese tower, it looks exactly what we expect.
