My new wife and I celebrated our wedding here and we couldn't be happier with how the whole day turned out. From the moment we started planning the wedding with the Orsett Hall team almost a year ago they have been nothing short of superb the whole way through. When the big day eventually arrived the team at Orsett Hall made sure the whole day was as stress free and easy flowing as possible. Leo the coordinator and our Toastmaster Dennis Surgeon communicated with us from start to finish and made sure us along with all our guests could enjoy the day as much as possible, even down to giving us a complimentary bottle of bubbly and telling us to take it up to our room and get 15 minutes away from it all to let everything sink in. The food was incredible and come out piping hot and everyone was served very quickly. We have had lots of compliments of not only how great the catering team and chefs were but also how good the bar staff were. When we started planning our wedding we imagined what we thought was a perfect day and everyone involved at Orsett Hall help us achieve what we envisioned. We would not have changed a single thing and could not have asked for any more. A BIG thank you to you all.
Had my wedding here on 16th May and everyone at Orsett Hall made the day even more special...Tessa and the rest of the wedding team were great in the run up and on the day making sure everything ran smoothly, I had my hair done with the lovely girls in the salon, and the on site chapel and hotel grounds are just beautiful. A lot of our guests stayed overnight and the rooms and service was excellent...would not hesitate in recommending this venue to anyone...thank you to everyone at Orsett Hall!
I booked my wedding here and was shocked at the terrible customer service and quality of food I received after visiting for champagne afternoon tea. The manner in which I was dismissed after attempting to book an Overnight spa package was shocking! My experience with the venue overall was shocking given the good reviews- they didn't handle my cancellation in a professional way and management refused to speak to me. There was absolutely no effort from the staff to retain my business or regain my trust.
