This is not a review I want to be writing. I lost my father and got married within a month. I originally thought Anthony was having a bad day, but I have been so disheartened by how Anthony treated my family and friends on my wedding day and the disrespect he has shown us since, I feel compelled to write this. We hired Anthony to cater our wedding in April 2017. I originally booked him because of his good reviews, food and affordability, however I was hugely disappointed on my wedding day. The food was indeed good, but the service was far from what we expected. There were many aspects of the catering service, which I thought I would not need to ask them to do, but this was not the case. If I went into everything that went wrong, this would be a very long review (One that I have forwarded to Guides For Brides).
Above all, I did not appreciate Anthony swearing at my brother, and insulting my husband and our guests. To top it all, he had the audacity to prepare food for a party booking he had the next day, in the kitchen I had hired, when he should've been ensuring our guests were catered for and looked after. I did not realise it was common custom to charge a client for the food preparation for another client and then have the rudeness
to get angry and swear when questioned about it. I felt Anthony did not provide the service he promised and since then has only continued to insult us and the wedding venue by writing a review that consequently had to be taken down. I would sadly not recommend him.

We confirmed a booking with Mango on 25th May 2016. On 15th October 2016 I received an email from Anthony stating that he needed to cancel our booking. I do not feel that it is acceptable to cancel a confirmed booking in this way. I feel a professionally run business would put contingency’s in place to deal with unexpected events to ensure that the business could continue to operate and fulfil its obligations to its customers. We have now been left to try and find a new caterer for a wedding on a Saturday in July which is only 10 months away. Anybody that has organised a wedding will appreciate how difficult this is as most good caterers are booked up much earlier than this. I felt Anthony showed little concern for the problems he has caused us and the booking cancellation was sent via email rather than him ringing me. There is absolutely no way that I could recommend Mango as they are clearly not setup to deal with unexpected issues. If you make a booking with Mango you are taking a big chance as in my opinion they are not a professionally run business.

I hope that you have now found an alternative that you are equally as delighted with and that the day goes well for you both.
