On this occasion we have a review that has been made up to make the brides mother feel justified because of her barbarian gutter mouth approach to a situation that was not our fault, by her actions in the boutique it is her that has ruined her daughters experienced not us.
She promised "to damage us" in leaving bad reviews all over.
So here are the details that have been missed. Long really sorry.
Bride purchased her gown in September 219, the gown was a ex display gown, so would have been tried on and not perfect, it was inspected by them, bride and mother were aware of imperfections, they had an option to purchase new, however this one was reduced in price by £400 they checked the gown on purchasing and were happy to buy. They also purchased this gown on using our 0% payment plan, their payments failed on numerous occasions.
On purchasing her gown she was given a handover folder with our gift of free wedding attire insurance worth £1,000, in this handover pack includes our contact seamstress list and a "what happens next sheet" This is a step by step guide on what to do, so we are with them all the way.
The bride booked in a accessories fitting to try her dress on with veils, they had meant to book a seamstress fitting.
On hearing the mistake they had made, the brides mother got very angry, insisted it was our mistake, and was very volatile, i have looked at our CCTV and the swearing brides mother uses is awful, she is attacking the member of staff, and is serious enough to be reported to the police which we are considering at this point.
I had a distressed phone call from my manager that's been with me 16 years of unblemished record of employment with me asking me to come back as soon as i could as they were coming back and she was scared at what they would do.
When they came back i sat them down and tried to assist them, when they realised they had made a mistake, the brides mother deflected by accusing the member of staff of being condescending & rude, when i pointed out that they had swore and screamed at her they said they were entitled to!
This women works for a "high end" bank apparently, so should know better,
On inspected the gown before they left, she pointed at the 3 loose threads, i explained again that is a ex display gown and had been heavily discounted, if they had used our seamstress they would have snipped these off without charge, i offered to prep the gown before they left, but i was barked at to leave it, they signed that they were happy with the dress and left.
There is nothing wrong with the service they had or with the gown they purchased or with the shop, which is far from shabby, in fact they gave us compliments on our flower windows and mirrors, its the fact they made a mistake and rather then sit down like grown ups they decided to foul mouth attack a member of staff.
We pride ourselves with customer service, we care about our brides and go beyond what what we need to do, i have 18 years full of happy brides and have just come top 6 bridal boutiques in England voted by the public and judged by the industry.
