I received my dress by post the day after ordering. I had a very helpful conversation with a member of your staff prior to this describing the fit and length of the dress. It's is absolutely fabulous and fits me perfectly! This is the second dress I have bought from you- the first was a John Charles mother of the bride outfit which was very flattering. You are all to be commended for such a wonderful choice of amazing outfits and great service.
I am to be a MoG and my question was "where to start looking for my outfit"?
I had bought from Fab Frocks before and had always come away with something lovely and cannot fault their customer service.
I and my entourage of Mum and daughter duly turned up on a Saturday morning as soon as they opened their doors (such was our excitement)! We were greeted warmly and after explaining my reason for being there I was shown a whole variety of different outfits and colours to suit all types of weddings and more importantly budgets.
Not only did I buy the outfit but also the fascinator and I had shoes and bag dyed to match.
The whole experience was one that made me feel very special and I enjoyed the morning very much as did my mum and daughter.
I had not been to another special occasion wear shop, and won't bother now after receiving the care and attention that I did that day I will certainly be returningto Fab Frocks as I am going to be Mother of the bride next year and I know exactly where I shall be going for my outfit!
Well done Fab Frocks I have no reservations in recommending you and your team to all and sundry
I looked online for a Mother of th Bride/Groom shop. I had heard of Fab Frocks before but only in connection with prom dresses. From the moment I arrived, Tracie was so knowledgeable, helpful and not at all pushy. I didn’t expect to leave after my first visit with a gorgeous outfit for my son’s wedding, including accessories. It was so simple but I’m glad I made an appointment and told her about the colour palette beforehand.
BUYERS BEWARE!!! I gave one star because the form wouldn’t allow me to give no stars. Had the worst shopping experience and customer service here EVER!! I bought a dress from them and was refused a refund 5 hours later even though the dress was still in its bag with tags on. This store proudly announced to us in store when we asked for a refund that it displays it’s no refund policy - firstly on the bottom of the receipt (which you only see once you’ve purchased the item, even then, the sales person folds the receipt and puts it in a cardboard folder before handing it to you, so unless you then take the receipt out and read the small print at the bottom, you won’t see it) the second place is on a sticker in the changing room. This sticker was covered by scarves, and accessories so it wasn’t visible. When it was pointed out to the shop owner that these signs should be clearly displayed he told us “that refers to American law not British”. This man has clearly researched how to get away with this poor customer service and doesn’t care about you once he has your money. Both he and his assistant tried to push me in to buying a dress and hat which were almost twice the price of the £655 I paid and now I understand why. This store proactively took action to ensure I didn’t not see the fact they do not give refunds. Both members of staff were all over me keeping me busy looking at dresses and hats and making me come out of the changing room to look in the mirror so I spent minimal time in there. Go elsewhere to shop!!! I will never go near this shop again and I suggest you stay away too.

You visited us on your own from London around 2.30pm on Saturday 5th October and selected numerous outfits to try, eventually ending up with a choice of two outfits. You were chatting with the member of staff that served you who at that time showed you empathy with the experience you had of having your dog stolen in the last month. You made the decision which outfit to buy based on what the mother of the bride was wearing as she was wearing a national traditional dress and you didn't want to clash. You left the store praising and thanking us for the help and service you had received , were happy with the choice you had made, and stated that you were pleased you had driven down from London to buy something. We wished you a safe journey and a happy day for the wedding on Saturday 12th October.
Around 2.30pm on Monday 7th October your husband returned with the outfit to obtain a refund stating that you were not aware of our returns policy. He also stated that you had looked at our returns policy on our website.
During his visit he made assertions about the A4 returns policy poster (not a sticker) in the changing rooms being covered up when you visited and that the A6 receipt wallet where the returns policy is on the complete inside cover above the receipt was not visible.
Our returns policy has been in place for a considerable time and is approved by Trading Standards. This policy enhances your rights under the sale of goods act and is the same as returns policies in thousands and thousands of stores across the UK. We make this policy as visible as possible. We never provide our customers with a hard sell, far from it, and also do not have any accessories and scarves in our changing rooms.
We are saddened that your husband has decided that it is acceptable to completely and utterly fabricate an account of your experience and post it round the internet in your name, all in an attempt to damage the reputation of our business. There is no part of what has been written that bares any relation to your visit. But then you will know that.
