We chose David as our photographer when we were considering Hampton Court as our wedding venue. He came highly recommended by the venue and he had also been photographer for one of our university friends at her wedding there the year before.
In the end, we ended up choosing a different venue; Painshill Park, for our wedding in September 2016. David had not been to the venue previously, so we visited the park together shortly before our wedding for him to scout out the best photo spots and also get to know him.
On that day, any concerns we might have had quickly dissipated. He was relaxed and charming and put us at ease with his easy conversation.
On the day of the wedding itself, he was a calming presence in my house on the morning of the wedding, snapping some beautiful shots of me, my bridesmaids and my mum getting ready, and also helping my dad put his boutonnière in place.
At the service himself he seemed to be virtually invisible, I don't remember seeing him once and yet when the photos appeared, he seemed to have taken gorgeous shots from every angle!
At Painshill Park, we drove round the venue in a buggy to all the most camera friendly locations and David took the most exquisite photos I could ever have imagined. We were relaxed, happy and had such fun taking those photos with David and they are now very cherished mementoes of that day.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend David! He is fabulous and his photos are a joy to look at. I now follow him on Instagram and Facebook, as I enjoy looking at his photos from other weddings, too!
