D'Aranyi String Quartet played before and during our wedding ceremony in Woodstock Town Hall. They were friendly and professional and their music was very good. They have a very varied repertoire (although we only chose rather classic pieces). Although not cheap, their fees are perfectly reasonable for this kind of talented musicians, and it was a nice treat to ourselves and to our guests to have them. Thanks!
Valerie and the string quartet were delightful and extremely accomplished musicians. They provided a delightful background for our wedding reception at the Old Swan in Minster Lovell. We thought their programme was very well judged and performed. My father was particularly impressed with a piece of Purcell, which he said was played beautifully.
The D'Aranyi String Quartet played for us at our wedding in August 2017 and from first getting in contact with them right up to the end of their set they were friendly, helpful and professional. They accommodated all of our requests but also made appropriate suggestions when ours had run out. A lovely group of people to work with!
The lovely ladies from D'Aranyi String Quartet played for us and our guests at our wedding at Belmond Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons in August 2017. The music was beautiful and complimented our day absolutely perfectly, everybody commented on how lovely the music was, with a real variety of classical and modern pieces. Every piece I asked for was played, and I especially loved listening to their beautiful version of Pachelbel, Canon, whilst we were signing the register. Valerie was so lovely to speak to before the wedding, always helpful and answering any queries very quickly. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so perfect!
I got married at Caswell House in July and I knew straight away that I wanted to walk down the aisle to live music, performed by a string quartet. My father, who gave me away, is a huge classical music fan so I had to find a string quartet that could live up to his expectations (bearing in mind he frequents the Royal Albert Hall!). I also had to think carefully about what pieces of music to have for walking down the aisle, the signing of the register and walking back up the aisle. This was all made very easy with the help of Valerie and the D'Aranyi team, who suggested pieces of music that would work well but also tailored the music to me. I chose Pachelbel's Canon to walk down the aisle to and it was played beautifully. As soon as the first note was played, both me and my father became very emotional and it made for a very difficult but ever so memorable walk. Then for the signing of the register we had more classical pieces and finally myself and the groom walked together to 'Married Life', the soundtrack to the film 'Up'. This piece was requested as a surprise for the groom and the D'Aranyi team did a wonderful job of learning and playing this piece especially for us. It meant a lot to be able to have something so unique and so personal, with the bonus of no added cost either. The afternoon then continued with a mix of light classical and contemporary music during our drinks reception, which made for a very relaxed atmosphere that all our guests enjoyed. I received lots of lovely comments and feedback about the D'Aranyi String Quartet at our wedding and I am very pleased with the service provided and the professionalism of the team. Throughout the booking procedure and during email correspondence, Valerie did everything possible to make the whole process simple, whilst answering any queries and dealing with our special request. I would highly recommend the D'Aranyi String Quartet for any wedding as you will be well looked after, your needs will be catered for and you will have the delights of listening to these wonderful ladies play.
The D'Aranyi String Quartet played at our wedding at the Tythe Barn in July. They were excellent throughout. Easy to book with and always on hand to answer any questions, or give advice on music choices. On the day, they arrived in good time and were flexible and willing to adapt to last minute changes and variable weather conditions. The music the played was great and all our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their playing. A huge thanks to Judith and the rest of the quartet for helping to make our day so special.
The D'Aranyi String Quartet played at our wedding in December at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons. The music was great and all our guests commented on how lovely the music was on the day. Booking was easy - lots of choice - and Valerie and her team arrived in good time on the day and were extremely professional! Thank you for making our day extra special.
D'Aranyi played at our wedding at Le Manoir this September. These lovely ladies have to be the most talented quartet I have come across in the UK to date. They were so perfect that we spent the afternoon sitting on the veranda listening to them play instead of taking photographs around the grounds. They have an incredible repertoire and can play anything. I am indebted to these incredibly talented women for making my wedding day perfect in every way.
We feel so lucky to have found D'Aranyi for our wedding reception at Caswell House on 18th August 2016 and cannot recommend them highly enough. Beautiful music - the mix of contemporary and classical that we were looking for - which created such a lovely atmosphere, on which so many guests have specifically commented after the event. Very quick to respond every time we had a question and very professional from start to finish. Not at all intrusive but such a large and important part of our day. This is one thing on the list you can tick off - you'll know, as we did, as soon as you get in touch....
