I visited Curds Hall Barn for a wedding in June last year. The venue was fantastic and really feels like a hidden gem in Norfolk. Perfect for making your special day unique. Arriving was easy and the long driveway builds great anticipation. Cars were left in a field next door with a path down so views weren't spoilt but we weren't trekking through mud to get there! Reception drinks were held outside with some spillover into the dance hall area with the doors open. This provided beautiful views around woodland and farmland, a great backdrop, and the different areas of the venue means the day can be split up, providing variety whilst not feeling on top of each other. Many other venues can feel like 8 hours of the same view, split between stood up or sat down! The dining hall is fantastic and created a great atmosphere through the speeches and dinner. It's a good mix of rustic but with modern touches such as the bar located at one end under the mezzanine floor. It's clear you can decorate and layout the facility in a way to put your own stamp on the day, unlike many venues which feel corporate and a direct replica each time. The adjoining dancefloor meant groups could party into the night but older relatives were able to speak at the dining tables or grab a drink from the bar. We held our own wedding a year later in Wiltshire, but often used Curds Hall as a picture of how we wanted the day to look and feel. Couldn't recommend more.
