We got married on 19/05/18 and the staff was brilliant everything went as it should and the day was perfect. The venue looked awesome with loads of places for photographs and Anthony and Melanie the house managers took care of everything. All our guests love the venue and i’m So glad we found it as we had the perfect day.
We had our wedding reception at Ashton Lodge on the 12th August. Lovely venue and all the staff helped to make our special day run smoothly. We had an amazing day and everyone said how nice the venue was. One thing we really liked as soon as we saw Ashton Lodge was the rooms on site which meant our close family and friends could stay there with us. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a venue in the Midlands :)
We held our wedding here on 24th August 2017. From the moment we walked into the venue on an open day we fell in love with the place. We were made to feel welcome and valued and this continued throughout and until our big day. The staff could not do enough. Our day went like clockwork and without any problems. The staff were on hand to look after everything. We did not have to worry about a thing. The guests were all amazed with the venue and could not say enough good things about it. The staff helped us by working with all our ideas and making our dreams possible. We cannot thank them all enough. We would highly recommend Ashton lodge and their staff.
Thank you so much for making our special day so fantastic. We fell in love with Ashton Lodge as soon as we visited and met the fantastically helpful staff. That help continued throughout the planning process and the whole day. Nothing that we asked of the staff was too much for them, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Hayley and Mel were there throughout the day, always available when needed, but never obtrusive.

We got married at Ashton Lodge on the 5th November 2016. We had the MOST amazing day and everything was just perfect . The team at Ashton Lodge are fabulous , right through from planning to keeping me calm and relaxed on the day- special thank to Hayley and Clare and the fabulous bar staff on the day and Emily during the planning process . What a fantastic, first class, team and wonderful venue !!!! highly recommend ..... thankyou
WARNING!!.. to other brides and grooms about the couple that own this venue and the staff, they change their contract when they feel like it (Be careful of their contract) the corkage price tripled from the first price, then they told us 6 weeks before our wedding that we must purchase all the rooms not just 6 (This was not made clear to us) we told them the rooms would be filled closer to the date by family and friends but they wanted all this up front which came up to over £800, it made our wedding about selling rooms for them! they sold use the venue on the basis that they could accommodate up to 200 guest just a few weeks before the wedding we was told they can only accommodate 50 cars maximum, we was told that we should hire a coach and ask people to come in taxi's, we was mortified! our guest was coming from quite far and this idea was absurd to ask our guest to do and we could not afford to hire a coach. in the end we had to cut down on our guest list. the staff members was rude to all our guest and made our guest feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, the morning after the wedding all our guest that was staying over was woken up at 6am by a staff member screaming at the top of there voice through the house, this is outrageous!! the customer service was diabolical. they are all lovely until they get your money and you sign the contract then they start throwing demands on you and rules, contently threatening your deposit which is £750. i still have nightmare about my wedding i hope this helps to stop this from happening to any other couples!
The sales process is very slick but the reality is very different once you have paid the deposit. They make everything an issue, it's as if they have never put on a wedding before! The owners are particularly unpleasant to deal with and have all sorts of odd rules that restrict what you can do on the day. Bar staff were unprofessional and rude to our guests and the staff made a catalogue of errors on the day itself despite several planning meetings and emails agreeing what was supposed to happen. Avoid!
