I am getting married next year and Amie Bone Flowers was on my recommendations list from my wedding venue. I sent an email to enquire about a consultation, I was told Amie is only available for consultations on Saturdays which is not good for me as I do shift work. They emailed back saying its not a problem and they can be flexible, so we set a date for a weekday afternoon for a few weeks time. I drove to the shop (approx 50min drive) to be told Amie had gone home sick and could not meet with me that day. Tarnia the PA for Amie was very apologetic and gave me a bunch of flowers for an apology. I accepted and she got out Amie's diary so we could schedule another date. I was going away on holiday so we scheduled an appointment on a Thursday afternoon for 3 weeks time as the page in the diary was empty. Whilst I was away on holiday I received an email a few days before saying Amie couldn't meet with me again because she had a wedding for that day. Even though I was in the shop and saw for myself the diary had no events on this day. At this point we decided to ask for our £50 back that we had to pay for a consultation as it filled us with doubt if they would actually show up on our wedding day! Tarnia was understanding and agreed they had let me down and would organize for the money to be transferred back to me within 48 hours. 7 days later I still haven't received the £50 so had to chase this up again. I finally got my money back yesterday. I am not one to usually write reviews but felt like i had such an awful experience I didn't want any future bride to be messed around like I have. Tarnia was very nice and no faults dealing with her but just be wary about using this shop as from my experience it has been extremely unreliable.

Anon, Whilst this is a disappointing review, I would like to thank you for your feedback.
We have the pleasure of working with many brides each year who entrust their very special day with us and take our responsibility very seriously, constantly striving to deliver an exceptional service at all times. Sadly, due to a combination of bad luck, as Amie was very poorly and my human error, Amie was at Aynhoe Park dressing a wedding, we resulted in having to rearrange your consultation with us more than once.
With a further error on my part your refund was delayed and for that I can only apologise and assure you that, as a result of my error, processes have been changed to avoid this happening again.
