Sally and Jee both attended Oxford University and met through the Korean Oxon network. They later started working for the same law firm and attended the same church, getting together after having known each other for seven years.
8 months later, Jee proposed after the regular Thursday evening prayer session at their church. He had decorated the whole place with tea lights and sang her the same song he sang to her when they first got together. It was a big surprise and a deeply moving moment. They later chose Sally’s beautiful cushion cut solitaire engagement ring together at Tiffany’s.
Since both Sally and Jee studied at Oxford, The Bodleian Library at the University was the perfect venue choice. They chose a light pink colour scheme for their hybrid Korean-Christian wedding, which complemented the venue perfectly. Although they didn’t have traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen, they did have several close friends who helped them on the day.
After exchanging their vows in a very moving ceremony, they enjoyed a typical three course wedding menu accompanied by lounge music.
