Despite meeting through mutual friends when Rebecca was just 17, her and Chris didn’t start dating until she was 22. Six years later, on a trip to New Zealand, Chris popped the question on a beautiful deserted beach.
Their stunning venue, Tredudwell Manor offered Rebecca and Chris freedom to have the big wedding day that they had always dreamed of. The couple had streams of homemade bunting, and decorated their own jam jars with flowers Rebecca bought from wholesalers. Chris’ Auntie Wendy made the bridal bouquet, decorated two milk churns with peonies and made the beautiful archway which they were married under.
The couple were lucky enough to have great weather on their big day, so they got married outside on the lawn in a personalised celebrant ceremony. They used hay bales for seating covered with dust sheets and fresh flowers, and Chris even wrapped fairy lights around the tree branches at their outdoor venue. The wedding was a real family effort, Chris’ mum even made over 200 different desserts and their beautiful wedding cake.
