The Venue
Lauren and Adam initially booked another venue for their wedding, but realised that it wasn’t for them just months before the big day! Luckily, Lauren loved East Horton Golf Course in Hampshire the moment she laid eyes on it. The venue’s simple charm and beauty, with its wooden beams and rustic feel, completely won the bride over. It also helped that the amazing staff were able to provide exactly what the couple wanted! The couple chose the Greenwood Room for their ceremony and reception, thanks to the spectacular views across the Greenwood Course.
The DecorÂ
Lauren and Adam decided to fully embrace the rustic atmosphere of their venue in their decor. They decorated the Greenwood Room with bunting and fairy lights, and included wooden accents and homespun elements. Florist Clare Carter arranged country flowers and greenery in glass jars on the tables to complement the sweet jar wedding favours. Each guest also received a wooden heart with their name on it.Â
The Fashion
The bride wore a gorgeous organza ball gown by Justin Alexander, which she purchased at Pretty Women in Edinburgh. The groom wore a fantastic tweed suit bought at a family-run business, Cavendish in Romsey. The four bridesmaids wore beautiful, flowing blush pink dresses while the two best men wore Marc Darcy tweed suits.Â
The Reception
After having a sitdown BBQ dinner, the reception moved out into the enchanting courtyard. Guest enjoyed pudding from an ice cream tricycle under beautiful sunny skies. The couple also had a stunning three-tiered naked wedding cake, which they decorated with fruit and flowers. Later, everyone moved back inside, where those guests wearing heels were offered flip flops, as it was time to dance the night away! With a DJ to provide the music, the dance floor was constantly full of Lauren and Adam’s loved ones who were certainly ready to celebrate all night long!
