When Katie pulled a cracker with childhood sweetheart Jamie on Christmas Eve, she got the surprise of her life: A ring and a promise. The wedding was a burst of sunshine through the pops of colours: Aqua and lemon featured across the flowers, venue and bridal party - chosen to create a refreshing, summery vibe which brought a smile to the guest's faces. This freshness was paired with sweet-smelling Yankee candles on tables named after the bride's favourite scents which made a lovely, personal touch.
A Photo Booth added to the sense of fun at the centre of their wedding - something for their guests too enjoy. Katie and Jamie's wedding was marked by kindness and fond memories. Though sadly absent from the wedding, Katie's grandad was well-remembered and his presence felt by a small photograph added to the bouquet. In this way, Katie achieved her dream of being walked down the aisle by the man who was very much a father to her growing up. The goodwill extended to a buffet that was provided for the homeless from the wedding meal. Katie and Jamie's day was made even more special by having their little girl Myla with them and the trio holidayed in sunny Spain together for a well-deserved honeymoon.
