Rhys and Jordan met on a night out in Northampton where Jordan was studying at the time - Rhys had never been to Northampton before so it must have been fate! Rhys proposed on the London eye after a trip to the zoo in the morning. He waited until they were at the top and then he got down on one knee and popped the question!
The ceremony was held at Lydiard Church and the reception was held at Spittleborough Farm House. Their theme was a relaxed garden theme... but it poured with rain all day - they didn't let this stop them! The day was full of laughs, happy tears and in all a lot of dancing and celebrating with loved ones - an unforgettable day for the couple as well as all the guests.
Rhys' favourite moment was when everyone was seated in the marquee and the heavens opened, instead of the guests feeling deflated at the thought of not playing on the fairground stalls, there was a burst of laughter. Jordan's favourite moment was when she felt the overwhelming emotions as the church doors opened and she saw her future husband and all her nearest and dearest were smiling back at her.Â
Their top tip for future brides is to remember that you cannot control the weather but you can control the atmosphere so keep smiling!Â
