Heidi and Danny first met whilst working together, originally going their separate ways as they headed through life. After years of not seeing each other, chance brought them together again - they bumped into each other and fell in love! Danny proposed whilst on holiday in Scotland and they married on August 19th 2007. After having their three boys, William, 9, Harry, 7, and Jack, 6, the pair decided to renew their vows amongst their nearest and dearest at the same church where they first married. The Forest of Birse Church near Banchory in Scotland held a special place in Heidi's heart, having visited the church during her childhood with her family on every trip to Scotland. When she was 7, Heidi even told her Dad she would get married in that church! Dreams really do come true.
The ceremony came with its own extra touches; Spud the Piper played for the arriving guests amongst the heather, Mary Garrad performed For the Love of a Princess on the harp as Heidi walked down the aisle, and a majestic owl delivered the rings to the couple - one of their favourite parts. What made the ceremony even more special was Heidi's best friend, Donna, holding the service - the perfect personal touch. Heidi and Danny emerged happier than ever to board their horse and carriage to whisk them away to their reception at Tor Na Coille.Â
Back at the hotel, the fun of the fair began in full swing. From fairground stalls to flip flops, 'pimp your prosecco' to popcorn, plus a spectacular Victorian carousel, Danny, Heidi and their guests played the day away in each others company. After a four course dinner, they finished the night with a chocolate fountain, disco, sparklers and possibly one of the best ideas to top off the day - late night bacon butties!
Photographs of the day were captured by Deeside Photographics and Donna-Louise.       Â
