Gabby and Bal - An Anglo-Indian Celebration at Hylands House

Colour, vibrancy and the perfect meeting of two traditions was celebrated at Hylands House, Essex. The occasion of Gabby and Bal's wedding married together all the trimmings of an English ceremony with the rich, magical culture of India. By day, champagne cocktails and afternoon tea, by night, a Punjabi bhangra party - fusion was the flavour of this wholly beautiful event.

Gabby dressed in the Bridal Room, making her way down to the Victorian Drawing Room where she and Bal exchanged their vows, looking towards stunning acres of parkland. Celebratory drinks and canapés followed in a suite of three rooms, through which the music of an Asian flute band drifted. The party then gathered in The Banqueting Room for a quintessentially English Wedding Breakfast.

The evening flowed into the contemporary Grand Pavilion where guests enjoyed a party to remember, with a twist to the style: Twin kitchens allowed a three-course Indian feast to be served, against a backdrop of multicolour uplighters and fantastically bold Spring floral arrangements.

All of this made the wedding a jewel and we wish the couple every happiness possible!
