For this Real Wedding, we were swept away to Australia by Fallyn and Grant, high school sweethearts who were married on a gorgeous, hazy day in July. Grant popped the question by sea, whilst the couple were sailing on a private gondola in the Gold Coast Qld; an after dinner toast with Moet champagne and a dozen red roses was made against the setting sun. Of course, Fallyn said yes.Â
The Wedding Day took on a timeless quality, drawing inspiration from the classic old world circa Gatsby and glimpses of vintage. Garden party blossoms in soft pink, lavender and white were accented by a glimmer of gold, intermingling perfectly throughout the elegant setting.  As a special touch, French Peonies were imported especially for the occasion from Paris to fulfil Fallyn's wish for Peonies. You couldn't help but fall in love with the romantic florals, arbour and mountains in the distance.Â
The bride had planned her look down to the minutest detail, including a pair of red gumboots for the location shots (hinting back to her country roots), changing out from her turquoise Louboutins. She also wasn't afraid to get involved with her own handmade props, including personally tailored menus, which added that unique something to the day. Fallyn advises brides to stay true to what you and your husband-to-be want as a couple, to stay free-spirited and to savour the day itself.Â
Quiet moments with family and friends ensured beautiful moments together in celebration, with grandparents playing a key role in the proceedings, hinted at through wedding photos of days gone by. This was truly a day to be captured, promising lasting memories for Fallyn, Grant and their nearest and dearest.Â
