Alba and Steve – Humanist Ceremony at a Intimate Wedding Venue
When Covid-19 restrictions forced Steve and Alba to postpone their original August 2020 wedding day with 100 guests to a new date in 2022, the multi-national couple decided to optimise the situation and hold their wedding in two parts – a micro legal wedding ceremony for 4 at a register office, followed immediately by a romantic, highly personalised humanist ceremony and BBQ at a luxe, intimate wedding venue for 17 guests in 2020 (the restrictions at this time allowed for up to 30 people to attend a wedding), and a big wedding celebration with all wedding trimmings in two years’ time! Ashleigh and James – Stylish Modern Barn Wedding
Ashleigh and James got married September last year in Sandhole Oak Barn, a beautiful modern stylish barn. They knew that we really wanted to get married in a barn, the old beams, the high ceilings and wood floors we’re just what they both pictured at their wedding. So when they set eyes on Sandhole they were so excited that both of them had finally found that perfect combination of old and new. It had all of the beauty and charm they were hoping for but with the comfort of a modern venue and the lake was just the icing on the cake.

James and Ashleigh wanted the theme to be elegant but also relaxed, their colour scheme was light pastel blue for the bridesmaids and white with the odd splash of coral. They were aiming for the tables to look clean and beautiful but not so fancy that the guests felt uncomfortable, wanting everyone to be able to relax and enjoy themselves.
Nicky and Andy – A Relaxed Beach Wedding
After over 10 years together, Nicky and Andy tied the knot in a relaxed beach wedding at Lusty Glaze on the Cornish coast. The beach was an important theme of their relationship, as Andy had even popped the question by the sea, proposing with a stunning white gold and diamond ring on a romantic Barcelona holiday.
In keeping with their seaside location, the couple kept to a natural and blue colour scheme, opting for light and bright decor to complement their airy beach venue. They hung ivory paper lanterns from the ceiling, created rustic centrepieces with wood slices, lace ribbon and laser cut table numbers, and chose ivory and blue flowers to echo their seaside theme.
Cathie and Miki – A Stunning Barn Wedding
After 7 beautiful years together, nature lovers Cathie and Miki made it it official when Miki asked Cathie to marry him while on a surprise holiday to Sweden. Miki proposed whilst the couple were watching the Northern Lights on a frozen river, and Cathie described the moment as being truly magical!
In November 2016 the couple finally tied the knot at Sutton Courtenay Church surrounded by their family and friends, before celebrating at Fison Barn, Oxfordshire. The couple opted for a Bonfire Night and nature wedding theme to complement the mulled cider, winter Pimm’s and hog roast being served to guests.
Joanna and Mathew – A Spring Wonderland
Joanna and Mathew met as many couples often do – through work – and became a couple within the month. From then on they were inseparable, getting engaged four years later on a morning stroll through Wychwood Forest.
The pair really wanted the wedding to be in Spring; the fresh bright days and pastel colours complemented their vision perfectly (plus it’s Joanna’s birthday in April – the perfect present, don’t you think?).
