City Hall Wedding Style has been making a name for itself as one of the biggest trends in the wedding industry. For this Real Wedding, GfB follows forward-thinking couple Ashley and Liam who threw the bash of the century in Manchester city! How did they pull this off? They chose to celebrate their day in town hall landmark, The Deaf Institute - a place which really puts Manchester on the map!
The newlyweds took to the streets for their photography, with photographer, Damian, taking candid shots in the manner of famed street style artists. Truly trend-setting, the wedding party moved into an evening at The Deaf Institute where the vintage twists of their day paired perfectly with a cocktail party at the bar and proper knees-up.
Ashley and Liam's afterparty was hosted in the ideal theatrical setting: Old Hollywood elegance mixed effortlessly with the feel of a 1920s Speakeasy in this underground venue. From prohibition bars to cabarets, guests mingled among the comfy booths, plush basement and elegant dens - stopping by the terrace for drinks. The rich feel of velvet drapes, domed ceilings, tiered seating and a mezzanine made their wedding sparkle up with the greats, with dancing shaking the floors and streets above!
