Jason was Amy’s best friend’s brother so they’d known each other for 24 years. When she was 17, Amy confessed her love for Jason and after that it took three years to become more than just his little sister’s friend.
Planning the wedding came easily to Amy. She had always known what she wanted: a winter wedding with an emerald green theme. She wanted to give personalised green baubles as Christmas-inspired wedding favours to the guests and homemade stockings for the children.
The venue was Balliol College in Oxford, where they had the ceremony, breakfast and reception. Both of their children were Christened in the chapel which made their day even more special and personal. When Amy saw her dress from Fantasia Bridal she instantly knew it was the one. She had never worn a dress she’d loved so much and it fitted perfectly with the wedding’s wintery theme.
