Whilst away with Luxury Safari Weddings in South Africa, the Guides for Brides team had the pleasure of being present for a styled wedding shoot on location! Ready to go wild for safari? Shifting Sands African Couture and Elli Nicole Bridal Atelier dressed our model brides (Gina Fainman - Alushi Model Management and Shelbe Pretorius) and groom (Stuart Burns) in gorgeous creations with a local heritage - their looks were simplistic, with an emphasis on natural materials and fine detailing. Opt for quality when celebrating out in the sun - we fell in love with the fabrics and how light and airy they were, looking truly stunning in white against the landscape.Â
Kohl Makeup PTA and Michelle Scheepers assisted by Viné Judd and Sydney Baker worked together to create entirely free-spirited hair and makeup. The shots captured  by Jessica Notelo and her assistant Leigh Benson came out beautifully, benefiting from the gorgeous natural lighting and climate. Flowers by Olive and Rose play with succulents, white roses and greenery - putting a fresh spin on the traditional bouquet. De Villiers Blomme provided floral decoration, worked naturally into the surrounding vista.Â
It goes without saying that as far as experiences go, an outdoor safari wedding is at the top of our wishlist: The local wildlife, including majestic giraffes and playful zebras roam freely at Zebra's Crossing Private Lodge and made for the perfect photo opportunities. We hope that this inspires you to dream big with your big day - destination weddings are well on the rise, so there's no better excuse to seek out the spirit of adventure!Â
