Kelsey and Neil were holidaying and sun-seeking in Tenerife (we would love to be in Tenerife *right now*!) when, against this little piece of paradise, their journey took them both somewhere magical...
The tropical-feel of the second night led the couple on a romantic walk along the waterfront, taking in the dazzling sea views and feeling the sand against their toes. Kelsey tells us that as they were perched on a bench, Neil seemed a little bit panicked, scanning around for people.
She brushed this off and the two were about to get up and head back to the hotel when Neil, in a surprise move, grabbed her hand, pulled the ring straight out of his pocket and asked Kelsey that all important question! It's no wonder that, at this point, both were crying with happiness.
The very next day, Kelsey was spirited away by Neil to Loro Parque, a sea life park, where some adorable sea lions were on show. He'd pulled the strings behind the scenes for them to both come up to the front of the display, announce their engagement publicly and seal the moment by kissing a sea lion! Talk about adventure!
This was an amazing experience and the perfect photo opportunity; we have to give Neil a major thumbs up for the cheekiness and sense of fun that he put into celebrating their engagement!
The two are planning to set the date on their 5th anniversary together, in 2020. We wish them both love, dreams and more amazing memories.
