Vietnam is a colourful and very diverse country from the wild mountainous north to the bustling city of Saigon on the edge of the Mekong Delta. The capital Hanoi is a fascinating mix of old colonial buildings and national monuments and the captivating scenery of Halong Bay, which is now a World Heritage Site. Hue offers an insight into the Imperial days, whilst the charming beach-side port of Hoi An has an intriguing blend of Japanese, Chinese and European influences. The delicious food and friendly people make a honeymoon in Vietnam one of the most endearing destinations to visit.
Bewitching and sublime, well trodden but not excessively so, a Vietnam honeymoon makes for a fantastically different location. With stunning beaches, dense jungles, interesting and up and coming cuisine and lovely locals – it is turning more and more Western heads by the minute.
About the climate:
In our opinion, the best time to visit Vietnam is Spring (February – April) and Autumn (August – October). The rainfall is calmer then and the temperatures are milder, without the sweltering heat of summer.
About the culture:
Vietnamese culture is heavily influenced by its Chinese and Thai neighbours, but it still retains a strong singular identity that remains inherently Vietnamese.
What we love:
The beaches, the history and the sense of adventure for a honeymoon in Vietnam.
Take me there!
