A honeymoon in Thailand comes with fascinating Buddhist culture, a number of beautiful temples, stunning mountain scenery in the north, a delicious cuisine and pristine beaches offering a wide variety of four and five-star accommodation options, and some beautifully secluded properties such as the Six Senses Hideaway. In the north, are the fascinating long-neck hill tribes, whilst the capital Bangkok is an atmospheric and energetic city that offers something for everyone.
Thailand is a fascinating country boasting incredible beaches, jungle, cuisine, people and historical sights.
About the activities:
There are trekking aplenty, picturesque beaches to bathe on, Buddhist temples to explore, street markets to try the local cuisine as well as some of the best snorkelling and diving options the world has to offer.
About the climate:
December & January: There’s never a bad time to make a trip to stunning Thailand. For the least chance of rain and endless sun, we recommend visiting during January or December, which have average temperatures of around 27 degrees. Perfect for couples who want to explore the country and relax on an iconic white sand beach.
February, March & November: As such a popular destination for couples who want a romantic trip filled with sun, honeymoon in Thailand is always a great choice. If you want to visit during peak season, we recommend going in the months of February, March or November, when the average temperature is 30 degrees celsius, and can sometimes reach 35 degrees! This is definitely a destination for a couple who love the sun.
About the culture:
Religion is deeply entrenched in Thai culture, and the predominant Buddhist faith (95%) is deeply tied up in the way the locals live their lives. The country can be separated into four different regions, each with its own distinctive character. Likewise, Thai people are notoriously tolerant and friendly people, retaining a strong sense of their own identity but also being open to new cultures and ways of life.
What we love:
The variety. Bangkok offers an explosion of sound and energy that is incomparable anywhere, whilst gorgeous islands such as Koh Samui provide some welcome relaxation and beaches that will leave you spellbound.
Take me there!
