Key information
The Seychelles are renowned for having some of the most beaches in the world, it is literally a tropical paradise with turquoise waters, luscious forests and fiery, orange sunsets. This bijou picturesque island will leave you speechless the moment you step off the plane.
About the climate:
The weather in the Seychelles is balmy throughout the year, so there really is never a bad time to visit. However, if you can be picky, we’d recommend going in April, May, October & November, the temperature during these months averages 30 degrees, and it’s a little less dry than the sweltering summer months.
March – May: During the months of March, April and May, the islands are particularly sunny. Temperatures often reach 32 degrees, and there is rarely heavy rain. If you want to spend your honeymoon winding down on a romantic white sand beach, there’s no better destination for you.
September – November: A brilliant time to visit the Seychelles is during the months of September, October or November. Temperatures can reach up to 30 degrees celsius, and average at roughly 26 degrees.
December: If you’re planning to visit the Seychelles during the month of December, it may be worth considering that this is the month with the highest average rainfall. So, if this is something that you would rather avoid, we recommend checking out the Seychelles in April, May, October or November.
About the activities:
There is plenty to keep you occupied in the Seychelles: watch sea turtles lay their eggs on Bird Island’s picture postcard beaches, dive and snorkel in the exquisite coral gardens and go birdwatching to see the amazing array of tropical birds that the Seychelles has to offer.
What we love:
The island hopping. 115 islands make up the Seychelles but each one has its own distinctive atmosphere and vibe, whether that be the varying landscapes and world class beaches of Mahé or the slower pace of life in La Digue – there is something for everyone.
