About the food:
Paris is the traditional culinary capital of the world, so you can guarantee that you will be eating the crème de la crème on your honeymoon. Try some of the local delicacies: snails in creamy garlic sauce, beef bourguignon, crème brûlée, all washed down with exquisite local wines.
About the climate:
April, May & October: Paris is always a brilliant honeymoon destination and during the months of April, May and October, the weather averages at around 13 degrees celsius – which is perfect for a couple who want to do some sightseeing and shopping without intense sunshine. However, if it’s sunny weather you’re after, check out June, July, August or September.
June – September: You can’t go wrong with a trip to Paris for your honeymoon! During these months the temperature often reaching 20 degrees celsius, this is ideal for a couple who want a city break whilst also soaking up some sun.
About the culture:
Parisian café culture is renowned the world over, and for very good reason – because they do it so well! Visit the same cafés that philosophers such as Sartre once sat in on Boulevard Saint-Germain and bask in history whilst watching the world go by sipping on a café au lait.
What we love:
The parks. There are the obvious ones such as Parc Monceau and the Tuileries and Luxembourg Gardens. But if you’d like a sneaky tip for two parks that are equally beautiful but a little more under the radar – make a picnic and go and see Places des Vosges and the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. We can guarantee you won’t regret it.
Take me there!
