About Special Day Films
We've filmed weddings all over the UK, in all kinds of venues, for people with all kinds of budgets, and we’ve always loved how a couple’s personalities can be threaded through the day. When you make your big day YOUR big day, we want to be there!
When we're filming your special day, we'll be recording the little personal details, like your theme for the table names or your music choices. But we'll also be looking for the quiet shared moments you'll have with your nearest and dearest in the build-up, or the thing that didn’t quite go as planned but made you laugh anyway, or the no-nonsense bridesmaid getting unexpectedly choked up.
We get a lot of compliments about how unobtrusive we are on the day, and we take great pride in the fact that we are often asked back to work for friends and relations of previous couples - it’s always lovely to see familiar faces (as well as pregnancy bumps or new additions to families!) from past bookings.

We cover the whole of the UK (and beyond, if required!)
Our prices are tailored to each couple, so any travel costs will be included in the price - no nasty surprises!
Yes - we love seeing what song choices people come up with!
A highlights video usually is around 10 minutes, and extended films can be about an hour or so in total - it mostly depends on how long the ceremony and speeches are!
Yes, we now offer aerial videography! This is weather-dependant and pending permission from the venue.
This depends on what works best for you! There will be a minimum of one though! ;)
This is something we offer and highly recommend - the speeches in particular, as a lot of work often goes into writing them, and it's lovely to have a record to watch back.
We don't guarantee a specific turnaround time - we put a lot of love and care into the editing process. If you have a date you especially want a video by, let us know in the booking period and we'll do our best! For anyone who wants to share their special day ASAP with friends or family who were unable to attend, we do also offer same-day turnaround for the extended films (within reason!).
