Wakefield Town Hall is a prestigious Grade 1 listed building full of immense character and charm, situated in the heart of the city. We are now taking wedding bookings from January 2016!

Dating back to the 1800's Wakefield Town Hall is steeped in history and filled with ornate features, including the elegant state rooms which are perfect for wedding ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions. The Victorian splendour and architectural grandeur of this building provides the perfect location to create memories that will last a lifetime. The versatility of Wakefield Town Hall allows us to accommodate your every desire, making sure you get the exquisite dining experience you deserve on your special day. We have a choice of fabulous rooms to choose from; The Kingswood Suite is presented to the highest standard, with its large original windows, grand fireplace and luxuriously decorated ceiling. The room will seat up to 100 guests for your wedding breakfast and 120 guests for an evening reception. The Old Restaurant is a magnificent setting for you and 60 guests to dine in grandeur. The Old Court Room houses an atmosphere of warmth and timeless grandeur in the classic wood panelled court. The Chimes Bar has inspiring and stunning views over the city. The small state room is perfect for an intimate wedding breakfast for 25 guests, keeping those nearest and dearest close to you on your special day..
