Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
Yes, we are an exclusive use venue.
Are you licenced for civil ceremonies?
Yes we have 2 rooms licenced for civil ceremonies. The Oak Room which holds up to 80 people and the Garden Suite which holds up to 120 people.
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
We are not licensed for outdoor ceremonies however, you can have a blessing outside in the grounds.
Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
Our corkage is £12.50 per 75cl bottle of wine and £15.00 per 75cl bottle of sparkling.
Can we use our own caterers?
We can allow external catering.
From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?
On the day, as early as you would like! We have a memeber of staff who will look after you in the morning and help you to decorate if needed.
What time does the reception need to finish?
Last orders at the bar are 11:45pm. The bar and music finish at midnight.
Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?
No there are no noise restrictions.
Are fireworks allowed?
No as there is lots of wildlife in the Park as well as many farms nearby.
Is confetti allowed?
Yes, as long as it is biodegradable.
Are candles allowed?
Yes, as long as they are in a holder and the flame is covered e.g. lanterns/ hurricane vases.
Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?
We don't have any accommodation on site however, we do have a ready room that you can use to get ready in the morning and leave all your belongings throughout the day.
Is there accommodation on site?
No however, we do have 2 sister venues nearby. Mercure Kenwood Hall Hotel and Doubletree by Hilton Sheffield Park. If you book a Wedding package you will receive a complimentary room at the hotel of your choice. The hotel will also put 10 rooms on hold for your guests to book if they would like to.
Is there additional accommodation nearby?
Whirlow Brook is only approximately 4 miles from the city centre so there is plenty of accommodation nearby.

The Hall is situated within the 39 acres of stunning landscape gardens of Whirlowbrook Park, located on the on the Yorkshire and Derbyshire borders. The grounds create the perfect for those all important Wedding photographs.
The original manor house, boasting many original features while exuding contemporary elegance, beauty and styling. Our wonderful Oak Room is perfect for civil ceremonies, with our Garden Suite looking out over the gardens making it a spectacular space for the Wedding Breakfast.
Whirlowbrook Hall is perfect for all types of Weddings, whether you are looking for a lavish, fairy-tale Wedding or a smaller, more intimate affair for close friends and family. All of our Wedding's are fully bespoke to meet each couples individual needs.
At Whirlowbrook Hall, our dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator will be on hand to provide assistance every step of the way, from the moment you book to the big day itself.
We here at Whirlowbrook Hall have an exclusive booking policy, meaning that your guests will be the only people in the Hall on your special day. You will have use of the whole venue, including use of the Ready Room and Chill Out Room.
