Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
At Rise Hall we believe you should be the star of the show, so we ONLY offer exclusive use.
Are you licenced for civil ceremonies?
Yes, we have a choice of rooms licensed for weddings, to suit all sizes of ceremonies
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
We can offer an outdoor ceremony providing the legal part of the ceremony is conducted indoors. Please ask.
Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
Yes, we charge corkage- please ask for further details
Can we use our own caterers?
Rise Hall works with award-winning caterers Dine to provide catering and event management. We do work with other caterers on occasion to meet religious requirements.
From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?
Please speak to your event manager- as we are an exclusive use venue we can usually be flexible.
What time does the reception need to finish?
We would normally finish at midnight, but a late bar extension is possible.
Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?
No, we are lucky to have no neighbours so there are no unusual restrictions
Are fireworks allowed?
Yes, we have a number of carefully selected suppliers, please ask your Dine event manager to arrange.
Is confetti allowed?
We allow natural confetti outside only, none in the house.
Are candles allowed?
We don't allow real flame candles, but we have lots of convincing battery powered ones- ask us to show you when you come to view!
Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?
Yes, there is the spectacular Swift suite, with gold bed and double baths!
Is there accommodation on site?
Yes, we have 31 individually designed bedrooms. We also offer family suites.
Is there additional accommodation nearby?
Yes, we can suggest local accommodation, and taxi companies.

Your own Country House for a Weekend! At Rise Hall, the perfect wedding weekend stay includes exclusive use of the venue. Rise Hall has 31 individually styled bedrooms with modern, luxurious comforts.
The ceremony is a centerpiece to the wedding day. We are licensed for civil ceremonies in the Morning Room, an elegant and light room with a stunning chandelier, original features and views across the manicured lawns of the Rise Hall estate.
The Drinks Reception can be held outside in the gardens with the backdrop of the stunning period house for photographs. The Belvedere Hall, with its bespoke chandelier, makes for a stunning entrance and photographs.
No Celebration is complete without food and drink! As wedding packages don’t exist, your celebration is as individual, as you as a couple. The food and drink you decide to have for your Wedding Day has been carefully curated by our team of award winning chefs.
When it’s party time you will have our very own traditional, Yorkshire pub! Everything flows seamlessly and effortlessly from the day time reception into the evening party!
Once your booking of Rise Hall is confirmed, you'll be introduced to your Event Manager. Viewings are held by appointment and can be arranged at a time that suits you. We cannot wait to welcome you to Rise Hall!
