About North Star Club

The unique retreat, near the village of Sancton in East Yorkshire is set in 500 acres of native English woodland and is the second outdoor venture from Christian and Carolyn Van Outersterp, who set up Jollydays Glamping in Yorkshire, eight years ago.

Couples will have a choice of exclusive spaces for the Wedding Blessing/Ceremony, including the delightful Woodshed building. With its cosy log burner and rustic décor, the Woodshed lends itself to small, intimate ceremonies for up to 40 guests.

The great outdoors offers a magnificent setting for larger celebrations for up to 150. Nestled within a clearing, couples can enjoy their ceremonies beneath the splendid larch, oak and birch trees with romantic festooned lighting.

Offering a spectacular setting the woodland has space for a lavish Papakata tepee wedding breakfast or relaxed, tranquil dinner in the Woodshed. Local catering specialists The Hog and Apple will take care of every dining aspect to ensure a celebration of the highest quality.

Guests can also take advantage of the five quirky Woodland Suites on site, each with their own exclusive interior design, inspired by people and places of Yorkshire. With the addition of the fabulous East Wing of Houghton Hall for celebrations held between April and September.
