The Ridgeway Barns is an exclusive wedding & events venue in Wiltshire, specialising in multi-day hire with on-site accommodation for 15 guests included as standard. Whether you are planning an intimate wedding in the farmhouse, you want to party the night away in our threshing barn, or host your marquee celebration with stunning views over the rolling North Wessex Downs, our dedicated events team will guide you through your wedding journey and on the day.
We specialise in three-day exclusive hire, with farmhouse accommodation for up to 15 guests, indoor spaces for intimate weddings (up to 24) in the farmhouse, barn weddings for up to 120, and landscaped gardens with the most stunning views; perfect for pitching a marquee for larger summer celebrations.
We put our clients at the heart of everything we do, and pride ourselves on creating a home-from-home experience where you can truly relax and make the most of your celebrations. Our dedicated events team will work with you to curate the day of your dreams, supporting you throughout your planning and working discretely to ensure your event runs smoothly on your big day. Choose an intimate indoor ceremony for your nearest and dearest, a rustic barn wedding, or a larger outdoor celebration under our oak-framed gazebo while enjoying views down the valley. Keep it small and dine in the farmhouse, or hire our barn or a marquee to expand your celebrations. And if one day just isn't enough, invite everyone back the next day for a casual brunch or BBQ!

Yes! We are an exclusive use venue, and hire typically includes accommodation for 15 for one or two nights.
Yes, we are fully licenced for both indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies and civil partnerships.
Yes! You are very welcome to hold your ceremony in our beautiful gazebo, with stunning views down the valley as your backdrop.
We are a fully licenced venue, and offer drinks service options where we will receive your wine a few days before your event, chill it, provide the glassware for it and serve it to your guests. This applies to reception drinks and table wine. Our bar will also be open throughout your event (except during your ceremony).
Yes! We have a great selection of preferred caterers, but you are also free to choose your own, as long as they hold the relevant licences and insurances.
Access is normally permitted from midday the day prior to your wedding, when you have also booked accommodation.
Our normal finish time is midnight
Our licence is limited to 95dB, which is plenty for a good party!
We do allow firepits and sparklers, but unfortunately fireworks are not permitted due to the risk to the farm and nearby animals.
Yes! We have a beautiful honeymoon suite which is separate from the main farmhouse.
We allow natural biodegradable confetti at The Ridgeway Barns
Yes. Accommodation for 15 guests (including couple) is included as standard. There are six bedrooms sleeping 11 in the main farmhouse (three king-sized doubles with en suite, plus two twin rooms and a single sharing a family bathroom), and two annexes.
We allow candles held within heat resistant containers or jars
Yes, we can provide recommendations for some lovely accommodation within a 10 minute drive of the venue.
