About The Queens Hall

The Queen’s Hall is the perfect place for a wedding that is unique to you. No preconceived ideas about menus or decorations, you can choose exactly whatever you want and make sure it is within your budget.

The large Grade 2 listed Victorian hall, which is ideally Cuckfield High Street, seats up to 120 for a formal wedding breakfast or 180 for a buffet meal in the Main Hall. There is Lobby Bar, ideal to use if the weather is inclement, or as an extra place for guests to mingle. A lovely garden out back where our wedding gazebo is situated. This is a beautiful place to get married, and a lovely setting for photographs, drinks and canapés – weather permitting!
We are licensed to hold Civil Wedding Ceremonies/Partnerships. For a more intimate occasion the Council Chamber is most suitable, the Main Hall and the Wedding Gazebo cater for larger numbers. You can alter your plans up to the last minute, especially useful if the weather changes. All three options would be made available exclusively to you as part of your wedding booking.

Whether you choose to have a buffet or a full-sit down meal, you are free to choose your own caterers (Hog Roasts and BBQ's welcome too) florists, decorators and event organisers, or do it all yourselves. We offer you a blank canvas to work on, the only limit is your imagination!

Exclusive hall hire fee for Weddings is £1,200 Saturday at 0900 through to Sunday at 1200. Additional costs for a Civil Wedding Ceremony £250.00, and for decorating before the wedding ½ day £75, whole day £150.
