About West Horsley Place
West Horsley Place, situated in the heart of the Surrey Hills, is a beautiful, historic manor house wedding venue. In spring 2021 West Horsley Place will unveiled a further newly renovated event space in our Place Farm Barn.
West Horsley Place’s romantic and fragile beauty, almost untouched by the last century, makes it a unique location for your celebration. Our guests will have exclusive use of the house and/or garden on the day. Within 30 miles of London, the estate offers a range of stunning settings.
Our 5 acres of walled garden offer a wide choice of locations for photos and drinks receptions with plenty of space for garden games.
Many parts of the estate remain wonderfully evocative locations for special events. From 2020, the main rooms on the ground floor of the manor house will have been restored and we will have heating, luxurious new bathrooms and a bride's dressing room. We have now opened a stunning new venue in the newly restored 18th-century barn at Place Farm. Although the exterior is 18th century the interior is very much 21st century, with polished concrete flooring and contemporary fixtures and fittings. The barn opens out on to a private courtyard with views across the grassy paddocks.
Both the Manor House and Place Farm Barn are now licensed to hold wedding ceremonies.
