Hintlesham Golf Club is a beautiful wedding venue located near Ipswich in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. The Golf Club has a civil ceremony licence and can host weddings throughout the year. The venue works well for both Summer or Winter weddings. We have years of experience hosting fantastic wedding celebrations and we work hard to make every occasion a wonderful experience. Capacity is 100 ceremony guests, 120 sit down wedding breakfast guests and 150 evening reception guests.

Due to its location (although it is just ten minutes from the heart of Ipswich) not everyone is aware of its existence, therefore making it a hidden gem that you simply must visit when making the decision about your wedding venue.
Hintlesham Golf Club sits within 150 acres of Suffolk countryside with plenty of picture perfect spots for photographs; including corn fields, mature trees, woodland and a rolling golf course. With beautiful views from the clubhouse and picturesque surroundings, there is also a rustic terrace where your guests can enjoy the vista.
The light airy Cedar Suite has a warm, relaxed feel, with vaulted ceiling, beams wrapped in fairy lights and beautiful chandeliers. The wall of windows lets you enjoy the views of the Suffolk landscape and dramatic skyline.

It is possible to invite 100 guests to a civil ceremony in the Orchard Room leading through to the Cedar suite for your wedding reception for up to 120 sit down guests, with 150 guests for the evening reception.
