About The Great Barn
Privately owned 18th century barn wedding venue on the borders of Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire & Buckinghamshire. The Great Barn is licensed for weddings, wedding receptions & civil ceremonies and can cater for all day and night celebrations.
The Great Barn is a beautiful rustic venue located on a 250 acre Oxfordshire estate featuring woods and lakes which provide beautiful backdrops for photographs.
The Stephenson family converted the barns in 1986 specifically for weddings, private parties and corporate functions and have been running the events ever since.
The converted 18th century barn is divided into two rooms, The Aynho and Croughton Rooms which are both licensed for civil ceremonies.
The Great Barn has been sympathetically converted to retain many of its original charm, along with the beautiful arrow slit windows, natural stone 2 foot thick walls, exposed beams and two open log fires in the Aynho Room. Both rooms are flooded with natural light.
The Croughton Room as well as holding civil ceremonies serves as the main dining and dancing area with its natural wooden floor and can seat 140 for a formal wedding breakfast and hold up to 200 for an informal evening party.
Couples have exclusive use of the venue and grounds and the day is tailored to suit your exact requirements with no minimum spend on the bar or the catering.
Discounts are offered for weddings taking place in low season, please contact us or visit our website for more information.
There is no minimum number requirement and the barn suits both small and large functions.
