About The Blue Boar
If you're planning a wedding, attention to detail really matters. This is why at The Blue Boar, we like to take care of all those vital little things so you can really enjoy your day. Please get in touch to find out more!
Overlooking the market square in the historic town of Witney, The Blue Boar dates back to the 17th century. For 200 years, this Cotswold coaching inn bore the name of The Marlborough in honour of the Duke before its original name was restored when it reopened its doors in 2011. Following our extensive restoration, we now offer a 70-seat restaurant, bar area, function room, imposing courtyard, and 20 boutique-style bedrooms.
In our function room, The Bosworth Suite, we can offer a seated meal for 50 guests and a standing event for up to 100, making it the perfect space for a wedding celebration. As a blank canvas, guests have the ability to add their personal touch to the room and make it their own.
As a 17th Century coaching inn, The Blue Boar makes a beautiful setting for your day and our talented chefs offer a fantastic range of food for your wedding breakfast or reception buffet.
