Can we have exclusive use of the venue?

There is exclusive use of both the venue and our extensive grounds for any weddings. We don't book any other functions/events in on your special day which gives you the use of our function rooms and as many bedrooms as you require.

Are you licenced for civil ceremonies?

Yes! We have a license that covers four areas onsite. Our lounge, main dining room, largest function room are all covered by our license and we also have a pavilion outside which is available for Wedding Ceremonies.

Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?

You can indeed. We have a pavilion which provides a beautiful setting for the more intimate ceremonies. For the larger ceremony, you can get married in our beautiful rose garden (and sign the all important docs in the pavilion.

Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?

We don't allow wine/alcohol to be brought onto site for any of our functions.

Can we use our own caterers?

We have a list of recommended caterers that we have worked with previously for a number of different cuisines.

From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?

This is dependent on whatever we have going on the day before. For the Big Day, you can access from as early as half 7. For the day before, it depends on what we have on-site.

What time does the reception need to finish?

Our License ends at midnight. For a small fee we can request an extension for this.

Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?

All we ask is that the band are considerate of our neighbours and that they adhere to the appropriate noise level legislations.

Are fireworks allowed?

Yes! We've had a couple of weddings on-site with fireworks and they look amazing!

Is confetti allowed?

Biodegradeable confetii is allowed.

Are candles allowed?

Yes, dependent on their setting to ensure the safety of the venue and your guests!

Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?

Yes

Is there accommodation on site?

We have 54 Double en-suite bedrooms onsite which can be booked at a discounted rate for your guests.

Is there additional accommodation nearby?

It's certainly a rarity that additional accommodation is required, but there are a number of venues in the local area that any overflow may stay at.

Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, one of the most special days you’ll ever experience. So we’ll make sure everything truly lives up to your expectations.

We are able to cater for wedding receptions of up to 50 for a sit-down meal, or up to 120 for buffets and evening events. If you need a bigger party, we can set up a marquee in the grounds.

With 55 bedrooms on-site, we have plenty of accommodation for guests and can offer a special discounted rate. You will also have the run of our grounds, blessed with idyllic backdrops for your wedding photographs.

We know that planning a wedding can be stressful, so our team will support you every step of the way with advice on entertainment, menus and flowers, so your day is as perfect as it can be.
