Welcome to Logie Country House, a magnificent multi-award winning, exclusive use Scottish Country House and Estate dating back to 1492, set in beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside. Logie Country House is an extremely luxurious, relaxing, comfortable and well thought-out location to share the most memorable day of your life. The entire house (17/18 bedrooms sleeping 50) and estate can be exclusively yours for a 2-day midweek or 3-day weekend celebration, with the option to add an extra night. Our late availability & off peak mid week prices start from just £5,000! Imagine open fires, beautiful antiques, sumptuous bedrooms, courtyard walls, coats of arms, steeped in history, warm, cosy and now with no draughts! We have 17/18 bedrooms that sleep 50 (excluding additional cot and camp beds), two large entertaining rooms, an indoor infinity pool, two superb fitted kitchens, several living rooms, a cinema, two outdoor hot tubs, a beautiful ballroom & bar, two courtyards, a private island, ancient woodland, highland cows and rolling lawns. We can host intimate weddings for up to 50 day guests in the dining and drawing rooms of the main house, or larger weddings for 160 day guests (up to 180 in the evening) in our purpose built ballroom & bar, set in ancient woodland, overlooking Bennachie and the River Urie. Our multi award winning in house caterers, Hudsons Catering, have over 20 years experience & our free events managers, Gillian & Lila, will be able to assist you every step of the way. What we quote you is what you pay. We have no hidden extras.

Our Sustainability Commitments
Logie Country House has considered the environment since it was rebuilt from a ruin in 2006, and works hard to be a genuinely green wedding venue rather than a greenwashed one. The house and ballroom were insulated well beyond requirement, with 150mm of high-performance insulation throughout, lime render so the building breathes, double glazing (the ballroom windows are over two inches thick), and efficient underfloor heating. The house is heated by a 50kW timber-burning boiler using wind-blown timber from the estate, processed on site, with high-efficiency stoves and oil boilers as backup. The ballroom uses electric heat-pump air conditioning, run only on the wedding day. The estate generates its own power from 18kW of solar panels with 31.2kWh of battery storage (6 × 5.2kWh), with planning permission secured to add more, runs on a green energy tariff, and is net positive on electricity. Lighting is all low-energy LED on smart Wi-Fi controls, and heating, pool pumps and hot water run only when needed. A 2025 upgrade cut pool electricity use by 65%. The venue recycles extensively, harvests rainwater, treats its own wastewater, uses eco cleaning products, EV charging points, and has banned plastic confetti, Chinese lanterns and fireworks. A recent assessment rated the building C (73%) for energy performance, well above the Scottish average, with thousands of native trees due to be planted.
