Yes, We are licensed for civil ceremonies and we have three areas for you to choose from: The Woodshed with its natural beamed aisle, The Barn and all its features or the Cart shed in the grounds which will allow outside ceremonies without the need to return into the barn to sign the legalities.

Yes, we supply the beautiful Chiavari Limewash chairs for your inside ceremony and wedding breakfast. For outside duo ceremonies we ask you to hire in your own chairs, or we would be happy to do this for you for an additional £250.

Once you have selected your date, we will happily hold this date for one week giving you time to check availability of your registrar or church. A non-refundable deposit payment of £1000 will confirm the booking of the chosen date.

Curds Hall Barn allows you provide your own alcohol for your drinks reception and wedding breakfast without any corkage fee. After the wedding breakfast the inhouse bar will open for you and your guests.

We have a trusted list of caterers that you can choose from. If you wish to use a caterer outside of our list, they will need to be a professional company and have a five-star hygiene rating along with public liability insurance. Therefore, we cannot accommodate self-catering wedding food except for the exception of wedding cakes.

For a three-day hire, you will be able to access to the venue on the day before your event, and you can set up from 10am until 8pm. On the day after your event, access will be given until midday to clear away.

We are licensed to play music until 12am and ask that the premises be vacated by 12:30am. If you’re having a weekday event, alcohol and music must conclude by 11.30pm and all guests to have left by midnight.

We do not have an audio system at the venue, but you can hire a PA system, or your DJ or Band may allow you to use their equipment for speeches. As with most venues, we do have a sound limiter as part of our licensing requirements to protect the health and safety of our staff and guests. Musicians and performers should be aware that it is set to 94dB until 23:00, and 83dB until 12am; it works on a traffic light system to give ample warning to drop their levels if they are nearing the limit.

Confetti can be used outside, if it is biodegradable. We allow the use of confetti cannons inside but must be cleared up the following day.

Yes, we a beautiful 5 bedroom barn conversion situation on the farm just a short walk from the venue. We offer this accommodation for a minimum of 3 nights so you can make a full weekend experience for your wedding. Camping is permitted on the night of the event in the parkland next to Curds Hall Barn. The price for a pitch is £20, which includes access to the on site lavatories only. Guests can bring their own tents, or arrange for glamping via an external supplier.

Greenbanks Hotel is situated only 2 miles from the venue and is a perfect spot for your wedding party and guests to book out for the weekend.
