The building, designed by John Nash and completed in 1836, sits on the exclusive Carlton House Terrace which is part of the Crown estate and boasts views of The Mall, St James’s Park and The London Eye. Inside, the stand out feature is the original sweeping staircase – perfect for photographs with family and friends.
This all year-round venue offers immaculately presented, versatile spaces, which accommodate up to 120 guests for a wedding celebration. What’s more, the beautiful terrace over-looking the mall can be booked as an exclusive outdoor space for refreshments.*
Should you hire Prince Philip House on a Saturday or Sunday, you can expect exclusive use of the entire venue, creating a completely bespoke experience and wonderful flow between the spaces.
The planning, catering and delivery of your celebration is taken care of by the in-house team at CH&CO who will collaborate with you to bring your vision of your perfect day to life. Yes, exclusive hire of the house is available on weekends.
Yes we are, this needs to be booked and paid for directly with Westminster Council and is not part of the venue packages.
Unfortunately we do not have a wedding licence for our Terrace, but you can have this inside and then move outside for the reception and photos.
Corkage costs is available on request.
We would look at a kitchen buyout, but only in circumstances where for religious reasons we cannot offer catering.
This is dependant on your venue hire agreement.
We can request a late licence at an additional cost, but our normal hours are till midnight.
No fireworks allowed.
We have smaller rooms that can work well for the bride or grooms changing room.
