About The Golden Hinde
The Golden Hinde provides an extraordinary setting for a truly memorable wedding day. With five decks of intimate and atmospheric spaces, it is a unique venue to begin your journey of a lifetime.
Come aboard The Golden Hinde - The first English ship to circumnavigate the globe between by Sir Francis Drake. This unique venue has been host to numerous memorable weddings. The entire ship will be yours for the duration of your hire and we have two areas of the ship where the ceremony can take place. The Great Cabin/Armoury can fit up to 15 people for an intimate wedding ceremony. The Hold – this is the largest space aboard the ship and ceremonies take place here seating up to 60 including guests seated on the Gun Deck looking down on the happy couple from a mezzanine.
We are always have to be flexible and highly recommend coming down to see the ship and one of our team would be happy to show you round.

You are welcome to arrive 30 minutes before your booking starts free of charge to decorate the venue. Alternatively we offer 50% off the hourly charge for pre-event preparation, so you can simply extend your booking to include extra time before or after your ceremony.
